Hi everyone,
So, I can't help but notice that October grants are well below the usual grant rate? I know September was a massive month (one of the trackers reporting as many as 270 PR grants in the month) much more than the usual, but so far in October less than a handful. Does anyone know why this might be? Even if you don't include September its still way below the average. I could make some assumptions about why but, if anyone has more experience or has some information that would be great!
also wondering whats going on

What happened to that info that grants for applications made before 1 july 2017 will be finalised before end of October?

They may treat it like they do security checks and verify the info with the country concenred.

I doubt anyone can tell you as you haven't said which country would be verifyng the information!
the CO requested for that form so i assume the assessment will be done by them and my country is zimbabwe

Its a Declaration of Service form, so presumably you have some relationship with a military organisation, or come from a country with compulsory military service, something like that?
yes Nemesis it is but in my country military service is not compulsory and wanted to know if verification of this form takes a while.

Hi
I lodged for Visa 190 on 03 June 17, submitted all document and on August 18 i got a CO contact and they required me to fill in form 1339. Does anyone know why i was required to fill it and how much does it delay my visa grant?

Hi All,
I have a query i.e. my PCC was valid for 180 days and it has been expired on 21st SEP 17. But my visa application has not yet been finalized. Should I renew my PCC and upload it again? OR Should I contact my CO to raise this flag?
Thanks
do both renew yo PCC and contact yo CO

Hi all!
I read the topic from the very beginning and hesitated to comment any party though. But since I have got my SO AWAITED grant by this noon (12:06) decided to share my case.
That is: Applied on March, 10th for SA nominated 190 Visa as sales and marketing manager, together with my family (wife and 3 kids); was requested madicals and PCC in a week. Replied them within term in April. On the 9th of May was asked for form 80. Answered them on 20th.
Then waited till today.
Emotionally I was not prepared to see grants on the screen of iphone. Only now I am recovering
All in all this took near the half a year (if preparation to IELTS/Qualification/State nomination/EOI are not counted).
NB There was no call to my employer.
Hope this helps.
Wishing luck to everyone, who still waits for their grants!happy for you Andy

Hey all - I'm very happy to inform everyone of some news that I received this morning from my visa agent. After waiting 180+ days, I have finally been granted a 190 visa.
We have a wedding coming up in October (in Australia) and had already booked our flights (and obtained a tourist visa). We were hoping that our visa would be granted before this time, so we could use the holiday to validate our visa and do some serious research for housing, etc. I was starting to lose hope, but thankfully we can now move to the next stage and start planning our big move.
I hope our positive news brings hope to everyone else who is still waiting. I will keep using this forum and try to follow everyone else's progress, but I wish everyone good luck with their applications.
- Some stats for those who are interested - Application submitted 2nd March 2017, C/O contact 15th March 2017 and approved 31st August 2017.
Pete.
congradulations Pete

Oh my word guys. The day has come. After nearly seven months of agonising waiting (close to break down at some stages!) our visa has finally been granted. I am in complete and utter shock. I hope with all my heart that you all receive the good news you are waiting for soon as I know from experience that it is so hard hearing if someone else's grant when you are still waiting for your own. Much love and thanks for all the support and words of empathy of the past few months. I will visit regularly to watch the rest come in ?
yeahh happy for you ...
