    Hi All,

I’m very confused by a situation.

My colleague got nomination approved recently, but no case officer allocated for visa?

This is really confusing as most people get CO allocated with nomination approval.

    Any comments??

    Whats his timeline?

    Hi everyone

Visa and nomination applied in Feb 2018

    Rcb approved in March 2018

Got request from immigration for police check record in July 2018

Haven’t done the medical check as immigration didn’t ask for it so far...

so does it mean my file has been opened or any thing?

Waiting is really killing me...actually I didn’t mind to stay in the regional area for longer time but just wanna leave current job ;( Ain’t the gov want to set people to stay in the regional area for longer time? But for us even though we still stay in the regional area but still have to remain in the same company...can’t change the workplace ;(((

    Hi everyone,

i have a query regarding health insurance. I am on 485 post study work visa and has also applied 187 DE visa. I got medicare after applying for 187 visa file in February 2018. So I discontinued my health insurance as i got medicare card. Does anybody know is it compulsory to keep private health insurance or medicare is fine?

As some people say that bridging visa starts when any previous visa gets finished. So my 485 visa will be finished next year in August. That means my bridging has not started yet so do i need to maintain my private health insurance according to laws or on medicare I should be fine? Very confused.

     your opinions would be appreciated.

      Thank you

I was on the same boat as you are, discontinued Private health insurance but after 485 expiry, My bridging visa was activated after expiry of 485(Which expired soon after 2 months of my application) So im not sure but i dnt think so you need to maintain private health insurance along side medicare
