Hi Ropar, Now India is in Low risk countries.

I have same situation like as you. My nomination is already approved.i apllied my visa 3rd january 2017.its been 7.5 months , nothing heard yet and i think i have to wait another month or two months

Waiting from May 2016 only one week left for 457 visa
Really disappointed today. Oh god help us
My friend says I should go for another option for safe side
I'm really stress spending 4 years 0n 457 visa I still don't know what would be future of my family. As kids are going in school. But still not satisfied what I'm doing
We are living in dark and don't know the way

Do you have any idea what happens if you apply for nomination and tge visa at the samr time and the nomination gets refused? Can you appeal it? Under what circumstances they might refise the nomination?

First working day of July.

Hi Everyone,
Anyone here who tried calling the immigration?
Is it Ok to call the department? My visa & nomination were lodged in 11/11/16.  Nomination approved 09/05/17 and addl docs requested same day.  Docs supplied 22/05/17. Its been a month and No feedback yet. My MA advised we can't chase the department until it goes beyond 9 mos.  I'm just wondering why some apps in Jan-Mar 2017 were approved while there are heaps of pending from 2016.

The waiting is impatiently dreadful. My MA submitted docs nearly month ago .... that was requested by CO
Still waiting for case officer to reply. Anyone help me with that how long they will take to answer
