You can check your visa status through below link to confirm the visa. When my status was changed to finalised, it was night and my MA wasn't available at that time. I confirmed it through the below link to confirmed it was approved.

I got my PR last night. Woohooo!!!!!

Nomination and Application lodged on 13/oct/2017.

Occupation: ICT customer support Officer

Nomination Approved on 14/03/2018

Visa Approved on 30/04/2018. 

Only documents asked was for nomination - Latest BAS statement and My bank statement showing income going into my account.

I really hope and wish all of you get your golden email soon.

They asked my MA for some documents for nomination and we submitted 3 days after the request. As it was 2 weeks ago, I though I could just call them to see if they received it and to see if they need more docs. Tried to be as nice as I can be with them and that paid off in giving me enough information on my application status.

Called them and asked how she is and said I am calling in to see if there is any update on the file or anymore docs required as we submitted the documents 2 weeks ago.

I just rang NSW PESE and been told that WA team is handling my case and gave their contact number. Rang that number and spoke to a lady who was very helpful and detail. She told me that my application is already assessed and waiting for nomination assessment to finish. They requested couple of documents for nomination and we submitted it 2 weeks ago.  28days wait is finished today but she said to wait for another 2 weeks for someone to pick up the file again as they are very busy. Hopefully they decide the nomination soon and send me my golden email.

Hi Guys, Can Someone please send me contact number for immi to follow up? I applied from NSW. 

My MA requested me to provide latest bank statements showing pays going in and my companies latest BAS file as he got the request from Immi. He said it was requested from case team but not the case officer so no contact number to call. But I still want to follow up on the progess as I submitted them last week.

Hi Guys, I lodged 186 TR couple of weeks ago and submitted police checks, Medicals, payslips and Group summaries. Just want to see what are the common documents that are requested by CO's after CO is assigned . If we know the most common list asked, it will help the future applicants and applicants that are waiting for decision.

you and your wife have to decied that do X-ray to wear apron (protect for baby) or after birth.

Hi Team, 

A quick question. Me and my wife are planning for a baby and also started process to launch TRS 186. Is it better to get medicals done before launching visa so that we don't have to wait to get her medicals done if she is pregnant as X-ray is not recommended on pregnant women?

Hi Guys, If someone could help me that would be great. I am currently on 457. Last year I changed my role with in the company and we forgot to update the information with Immi. Now I am applying for 186 transition on the role I am originally sponsored on. My payslip or contract doesn't show the new role that I am in. Am I still be able to apply TRS 186 or would it be risky?

It takes generally 8 to 10 months for the nomination to be open.

If your application has been submitted at the same time, it is very likely that the same case officer will process your application just after the nomination approval!

Thank you for the info Jess. Out of your experience in the forum, can you please advise if anyone has been rejected for 186 TRT and why?

How long does the employer nomination process takes? Is it better to apply both employer nomination and visa at same time

Hi Guys, I am new to the forum and have few questions. Can someone please help?

1. I am currently on 457 finishing 2 years on 2nd JULY 2017. My employer who sponsored me for 457 is happy to sponsor me for 186 - TRS. Does the employer needs to apply for nomination for 186 too? or can he use existing 457 nomination?

2. Can I apply exactly after 2 years of being on 457 or better to wait few more weeks?

3. What sort of waiting times currently for 186 - TRS?
