EOI updated this week... I'm now on 75 points after taking the pearsons for maximum points-medical practice nurse.

Hi thanks for your reply. Unfortunately he can't get any more points as he's now 40 so lost on age. Has superior English also.

My hubby has put in EOI for NSW as well as a 189 as engineering technologist at 75 and 70 points respectively. What are the chances of being invited before July?? We rarely see engineers time lines so I would be grateful for any insight.( I'm also waiting with 65 points 190 registered nurse)

Both me and the hubby have submitted EOI'sthis week,
I've put in for 190 NSW on 65 points(inclusive of the 5 points for state) nurse medical practice.
Hubby has put in for 189 on 80 points and 190 NSW on 85 points- engineering technologist. Hubby turns 40 next week so he'll loose 10 points [emoji30]

Contain, my ANMAC assessment took 3 weeks

I am wanting to apply for a 457 visa (I'm a registered nurse) how realistic is it that I will gain a permanent residency visa once in OZ? Or is it too risky to take the hubby and 3 kids on the 457...[emoji51]

Hi can anyone show/tell me if Queensland or NSW are accepting nurses for 190 visas?

It appears that being qualified for 3 years but working only 30 hrs per week for the last 18 months, I am short on the 36 months full time equivalent for visa points.

Or do I apply EOI with 60 points and cross my fingers for an invitation?

I've looked again and it's definitely $660 for aphra. So if you only get 3 months to activate how does that work if you are only at the point if putting in EOI. It seems they want a lot from me before even applying for the visa.[emoji51][emoji51]

Good morning guys

I thought I was ready to submit my documents to ANMAC for my skills assessment however before I could pay my $600 there was a line saying " I have received a valid notice of principle approval of registration subject to proof of identity from APHRA"

I was under the impression the skills assessment from ANMAC took priority then I could apply for nursing registration after. Both agencies are wanting the same documentation and $600 each.

Does anyone out there have any experience of this??

I was hoping to find someone who has submitted their professional reference to ANMAC. I am almost ready to submit my papers for the skills assessment but I'm drawing a blank when it comes to the professional reference and the depth of information required on the reference with regards to the examples of competencies in carrying out nursing work. TIA

Thanks for that advice guys, I'm going to go ahead and sit the exam on Saturday. I've looked at plenty of practice papers ( not always getting the score I require) but hopefully I'll scrape it.

I'm booked for Saturday 8th July...

I am English, passed gcse english and recently gained my degree in adult nursing, however the sample papers I've doing will not get me the grade 7 I so desperately need!

Hi there, are there any nurses out there going through the 189 visa process? I've started the long road this week, applying for my documents for the AMNAC skills assessment. Any words of encouragement greatfully received!
