I have a returning resident visa which is due to expire in August this year. If I travel within Australia (Perth to Queensland) am I able to return back to Perth after this has expired? Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, moving back to Perth in July. My Visa expired in January but I have applied for a Returning Resident visa which is valid until August. I am migrating permanently, but am curious on how easy it is to leave WA and return? (For a holiday or back to the UK to visit family and friends) thanks in advance!
