Hi guys just a quick note..had our 190 visa granted on 11th August [emoji16]we will be arriving in Sydney on 5th November staying with my sister in law in Ashfield inner west, initially as a base for our travels and untill we decide if were gonna settle or not. I'm a gas fitter and plumber in the UK and my fiancee is an optical dispenser (works in an opticians)...would anyone know the like wages combined we may achieve in Sydney with relation to renting etc....we are renting out our 3 bed semi in Liverpool and have a decent amount of money to get us started...any help appreciated [emoji106]

Hi guys, just an update for u all, woke up to an email of visa 190 grant today, submitted application on 26th may, updated with contact from CO for PCC and medicals on 6th June, so happy looks like all the hard work has finally paid off [emoji16][emoji16]

Fb Michael Breen he's my agent im a plumber and gas engineer and have to do a vetassess skills assessment and theory then a regs theory for their regs then work with someone for 6mths to gain the experience b4 the aus government will give me a license

Processing time has increased to 9 months for 190s.  Happy Monday.....

I'm in same boat, submitted requested documents on 6th June(Form 80 and Police checks), and haven't heard back from them.

My husband is a plumber and Gas fitter here. We are looking at moving to NSW central coast or Newcastle. I see different salaries everywhere I look from 50-100k , anything more specific could really help us with this huge decision !

Hi everyone, wondering if there are any ex British Gas lads or ladies on here, I'm currently awaiting for my 190 visa to get assessed and would love to hear from anyone who's already moved to Oz on a visa in my trade, I don't have much plumbing experience, mainly in heating systems maintainance and repairing appliances, just wondering what the work is like? Is it difficult to gain a licence and find a company willing to train you? Any help would be really appreciated thanks

We submitted 190 application end Feb and all other information including police check and medicals sent by mid March. Not heard anything yet and noticed the process times on their website have increased from 4 months to 7 months.

Hi yes only NSW? Should I change it to any? 

Hi. Can someone help when 'nominating' a state on EOI to get the extra points I gather you just pick with state you would like on the EOI form eg NSW. Is this all you have to do? Forgive me if it's a stupid question. Many thanks 

I have a total of 60 for 190? I've heard other have had invites with less points. 

Hi guys, i'm after some advice, I've submitted my EOI with 55 points for a 189 visa and 60 points for 190 free r gas fitted nominated state NSW. Had Trades Recognition Australia confirm skill 334114 gas fitter. I'm concerned as I turn 33 in June and  I'll lose some  points, does anyone the chances I'll have in getting an invite and if so how long would I have to wait? Thanks 

Hi sorry to jump in. Any ideas on 190 60 points gas fitter? Submitted EOI last week.
