how long until I can apply for a passport online after citizenship ?

Finally my immi Account says Approved!

Ok, mine still says Received 

So does the status change in the immi account now ? 

I applied 8th of March did test 4th of July still no letter

The whole thing is ridiculous. The amount of money we pay in visas, medical exams, police checks plus citizenship, you would expect a better service. Especially when citizenship is straightforward compared to visas. It's going to be about 2 years from application by the time I get it by the sounds of it

Totally agree 

The last ceremony date in my area is October 31st so don't think I will be making that one 

Not good service at all

I just phoned them they wouldn't provide me with an update didn't even take my details to have a look.. the person I spoke to was very rude!

Got my approval letter in post today dated 26th July, 1 day after my interview & test.  Approval letter came from ACT.   Wasn't expecting it so quick after seeing how long people are waiting .  Says to allow 6 months for invitation to ceremony.   I think my local council have them every 2-3 months.  

 

 

That was super quick! Congratulations 

Been 28 days since my test not letter so far 

They told me on Tuesday after the test if not had a letter after 6 weeks then call them
