Finally it happened 186 visa was granted today - Received->Finalised (no further info was required)

Nomination: May 17, 2016  -> Approved: May 21, 2017

Visa applied: June 6, 2016 -> Granted : May 1, 2017

DE, HR, 4 people

So happy and so relieved.

Here is a tip from my end: call IMMI to ask for your status - it is helping

When they don't require any docs or if there is only few checks to do, it can be granted immediately.
Sometimes, it can be a few days or weeks.

Funny enough, I got the nom approval one day after calling tge immigration department bagging for them to open my file. Maybe it is not a bad idea to call them. Btw, I'm also offshore waiting to get the final YES.  good luck and stay positive. 

Mate, my no.ination was lodged on May 17 and git approved yesterday. Wait more few days,,,, it is coming. 

does someone know how long it takes to process the visa application once the nomination was approved?

no questions.... note that salary nominated was $180K+ per annum so it could help.

Visa Applied: 7/6/2017

HR Country | 186 Direct Entry | 4 applicants | Status: Received

Guys... they are talking about 457.... this discussion about 186??? no affect for us friends.

also, changes will affect applications lodged after 19 April , 2017.

Yes but, if we applied a tear ago.. we shouldn't be affected.

So nothing basically happened to 186.... no need to get panic here

I called IMMI today and was told I'm supposed to be processed soon.... fingers crossed.

mmmmm..... My nom was lodged on May 17, 2016 and visa applied on June 7, 2016 - still in 'Received' status.
 

What is the PSE NSW phone number I can all and how fast do they pick up the phone?
what should I ask them? simply say the TRN and ask for status?

Did the training fee meet the minimum of 1% of the  company's annual expense?

I applied on May 21 last year and still on 'Received' status. Today I sent a letter to IMMI to try and speed up the process. I reckon they do prioritize the applications and deal first with he high demanded professions. It is frustrating that they don't meet their own timelines stated on their site.  Let's hope for some good news soon.

Does anybody know how IMMI will work during April when having Easter holiday? will they slow down their processes?
