  1. I found an interesting thing on my nomination. I have submitted my nomination application in July 2016, but when I received my nomination in July 2017. It showed the lodgement date is in Feb 2017, so is that mean I have been waited for 7 months to be assessed...... Still waiting for my visa.....Really long!!!

    Whats your occupation please?
  2. My employer having its main branch in Melbourne. He have 3 restaurants and he is opening another restaurant in regional area with same ABN and name of the company.  He is showing all financial in one p&l a/c for all branches. Do I need 2 base statement for the new branch before lodging my 187visa or no need, as it is not the different company but a branch in regional area. Please give me your valuable suggestions. Thank you.

As the ABN number is same, p&l statement and bas statements will be the same for branch as the parent company.
But make sure do your employer need to fulfil the 1 year old business requirement in regional area is required or not, before sponsoring you.

    Hi everyone.

I have been following this thread for a while

    Below are the details:

Visa type- RSMS 187 Direct Entry

    Job description- Accountant.

    Nom 16/08/16 - Approved 20/10/2017

Visa 01/09/16 -  Requested for meds 20/10/2017 ( mine was done ages 16 months ago). booked for Monday, fingers crossed

    Total applicants- 2

    HR country

Congrats.....Hope you will get ur visa very soon.

Can you please confirm me the average salary of Accountant for RSMS visa. Thanks

  4. he applied 16 april onshore NSW

these are the resons for refusal

Firstly, the applicant provided an unaudited Financial Statement which includes figures for
the financial years 2014 and 2015
Secondly, the applicant confirmed in the application form that the business is employing
two Australian citizens and permanent residents and two foreign employees. The gross
payroll expenditure of the business in the past 12 months (from 16 April 2015 to 16 April
    2016) is $75,000.00

Thirdly, the applicant confirmed in the list of employees provided with the organizational
structure that the business is employing six staff including one full time Director, a full time
manager (nominee), one full time cook, and three staff (kitchen and waiting staff). The total
number of staff as per application form is four; a clear contradiction of the number of staff
    working for the business.
In light of the fact that no verifiable evidence of sustainable source of income has been
provided, the conflicting information regarding the payroll expenditure of the business in the
past twelve months, and insufficient payroll expenditure during the last twelve months, I find
that the nominator has not demonstrated the financial capacity to be able to pay the full-time
salary for the nominated position for at least 2 years.
Based on the information provided, I do not find that the nominee is to be engaged under the
direct control of the nominator, or that the nominee will be employed on a full-time basis in
the position for at least 2 years.

    Hi,
Just want to confirm that some of employees in my company are working on contract bases from last 4 years. Can we consider contractors payments as the part of gross salary?

  5. Hi everyone!
I have been  a silent follower of this forum for a while.
I have been waiting for 15 months and 9 days and finally this morning I decided to call immigration for the first time following a friend's advice (they didn't say anything really.... just to keep  waiting). And surprisingly I got a call from my MA just now telling me that my nomination just got approved half an hour ago! and they had a question about one of my police checks (apparently NZ's police checks are issued in a "funny way")
    This is my timeline:
187 DE restaurant manager LR (QLD)
    Nomination & visa: 24 June 2016
    Nomination approved: 3 Oct 2017
    Fingers crossed!!

    Congrats alot...

  7. I'm not sure why your agent assumed that restaurant manager and cooks are getting refused but I see somewhere said that if the application doesn't have enough documents it will be refused straight away without any further requesting documents.
I got a friend from high risk country applied 13/1/2017 Nomination and Visa together as an F&B manager and got his visa 25/05/2017. I'm not sure why his visa is so fast but his documents are decision ready.

    Was it 187 DE?

    F & B manager stands for?
