But even so- we would be looking to find employment once out there...... I don't think you can on a tourist visa?

Lol. Ok thank you. I sent a blank email to immigration (as advised on another forum) it came back that currently 173 visa's are less than a year wait!! ?

Hi. Myself and my partner are looking to apply under this visa. We pass the balance of family test and don't think there will be any issues....it's just that the government pages don't really tell us much else and we don't know how to get all the information from one site???

We will complete all the application forms- 47PA - there are 2 and also form 80. My partners daughter will be our sponsor and she has her part to complete. We will marry next june but want to submit now. So we are applying under my partner and adding me onto his application? Is this correct? We can submit a change to my name etc later on? ....I can't find out whether we can work in a temp visa or are we not able to work until we have pr? It's all a bit of a mind field....... thank you in advance

OMG!! Where did you get all of your help and support on doing all this? It seems like a minefield!! We are hoping to make the move as soon as our initial visa is granted and go from there.......... we want to do it on our own rather than pay an agent....the application forms seems straight forward...I'm just concerned where we find out what to do and get ready once our application has gone off. ??? Is there a help site/ website that let's us know what we need to do??? #outofourdepth!! Xx lol

How did you get on with the process? I don't think it's all that clear on when they require the first, second payments and the bond and when we get the bond back etc... I'm looking for as much information as possible if you can remember???? Xx
