Whats wrong with immigration and how bad their system???

Still no co allocate and when today I was rang them that lady

was gave me a very rude answer why u r call to us and disturb to us

This is not ur right to call us

we have many pending applications which we need to clear

we don't have any time to waste to talk with u blabkablabla....

its ridiculous

who gave them rights to talk with us like this???

very disappointed today

now only god helps to us????

They are taking very long time for DE applications mate.. I have been waiting since August 12th without any response.

I think none of the August DE applications got opened.

@Praveen Reddy u r just waiting from 7months but see ur back many r waiting from February march and April. So calm down and wait for ur good luck.

Hi @jess6, thanks for the link. Sorry for your loss - I've experienced first-hand the tragedy of being away from loved ones when they passed. By the way, getting a BVB is not complicated so long as you show them proof - maybe doing that will give you peace of mind.

 

And yes, just as @syd2016 mentioned, we also have a number of critical things tied up with this visa - too much in fact. If not for that, I wouldn't sweat the long wait.

 

We're hitting March, I can't believe it - 325 days, nearly 11 months waiting. Hope they catch up with the backlog and that by some miracle, we in fact now have COs assigned to our cases, finally. Getting harder to keep anxiety at bay - struggling to go day to day unless I "forget" it. Tough too, seeing others still waiting from SEP, NOV 2015 and early 2016. Hope you all get your PR grants very soon.

 

Meantime, new week, new glimmer of hope! Here we go, let's get our PRs this week!

I recently call to immigration and that lady told me same things we are proceeding march 2016 file so U have to wait.

No news yet for me either.....(( , I guess when they say they are doing applications between march and august , they tend to forget or I should say skip April for some reason..... don't know wht is exactly going on.... anyways I'm gonna call them today , let's see what they say , will let u guys know.... till then let's all keep praying and keeping our fingers crossed 爛, who knows we might all get our PRs today [emoji12]....gud luck guys [emoji106]

hi to all. I am silent follower of this foroum. I can proudly say that i am Australian permanent now. That is the most precious gift for me on valentines. I am very happy today. Can't explain my happiness. The total period of waiting was arrond 10 months. My time line is below

186 visa trt after spending 2 years in 457

occupation hair and beauty salon manager

nomination lodged on 21 april 2016

nom approved on 15 nov 2016 ( no further documents requested)

visa lodged 6 oct 2016 approved 14 feb that means today

further documents requested for visa (7 jan 2017) it was PTE report. Tht was an odd request which was I already provide with my visa app. But anyways I submit again. Application processed in vic.

Dear @AKper @April16 @Zee14042016 @Gary1985 and other FEB/MARCH/APRIL applicants, any news?? I looked through the spreadsheet and noticed that there haven't been any grants for our timelines since November and December (for April). Also read here that they are now supposedly advising allocation for March to August? It's crazy that ours have not been allocated at all! Has anyone spoken to IMMI lately?

 

@jess6, looked at the points system but it seems odd that they would use that without disclosing? Also, I checked my points and I'd score pretty well too even without all proof provided (for those that are not required for 186 DE) so..that should've meant my file would've been allocated more quickly?

 

I'm wondering if they allocate based on country/region of origin...not just on HR vs LR. Maybe they have limits to the number assessed/approved per country/region?

Hi Everyone.. let me start saying this.. I am a direct entrée and I got my visa today.. I am sure lot of DE's out there will be frustrated and waiting for this.. hang in there fellows.. all is fine and things will happen. this forum had been a great support and motivation. the fact is this is the only place where you get to know what's happening within the immigration and which month files are getting processed. just giving a brief of my data so that all gets to know the required details they are looking for. it was frustrating times for me as well.. its a sigh of relief at the moment.. wish everyone good luck and thank you everyone once again.

@AKper, Oh no - terrible! Have they been in touch though? I hope you get your PR soon.

 

Seeing the disparity in timelines is ridiculous--with many having submitted COMPLETE applications BUT still showing 'Received' with still NO CO allocated after 300-500+ days waiting?? Absolutely shocking, unfair and painful - and unnecessarily so. I keep praying that IMMI surprises us with some good news..and hope we don't come out of this too battle-weary. Whatever happened to 'managing expectations' and giving everyone a fair go.

 

I saw a few asking about age - I'm between 30-40 - is this the same for all those with longer timelines?? You would think our experience would be advantageous though? @jess6, thanks for that - so far no luck but who knows hey?:twitcy:

 

But I will end this on a positive note - let's all try to forget this for the weekend - it will come in good time. Better be SOON please. Ha ha!

Hi everyone, my visa has been granted! Yay!

(The grant notice is pretty simple 2 page document. I thought it would be much longer to include all the things/benefits that a PR are entitled to.)

 

I have updated my info on the spreadsheet. I am on July tab.

So weird - there are 18 of us in April just waiting..and more from Jan-March and late 2015 still waiting. I wonder why??

 

Could case allocated be based on where we live? Just a random thought - is it possible that they have a limit of approvals based on the state where you live? Or maybe allocation is based on this and there are more applicants from our state?

@lellor, I'm DE - yes, noticed that for some transition ones too!

 

@Zee140416, that theory makes sense - but you would think they'd have a contingency plan for slow teams - how can it be that so many older cases have not been allocated at all, and they're already approving cases in the new financial year? I didn't use an MA for the visa app, but have asked and they said this is very odd.

 

@April16 and @APR15, on our spreadsheet alone only 57% of APR cases have been finalised! I know we are basically helpless and will just have to wait, but surely once it has gone well past average processing times, they would at least notice and start prioritising older cases?

 

You'd think that they'd try to catch up on backlog at least..or give us an idea as to the timeframe. So painful and worst bit is not knowing when or why. Over 10 months for a number of us now and a few have messaged me - they've been waiting since Jan, Feb and @aussiepr has been waiting over 510 days!

 

Right so I just noticed that I am now a 'senior member' in the forum - to think I only joined 4+ months after lodging. Ha ha. Good luck to us all. Hope it comes this month for us. Let's will it.

Sometimes I thought all people should to call immigration and remembrance them regarding why they forget Feb to April files but I know it's stupid thoughts but we have no options. Just wait and watch.

Any FEB, MAR and APR applicants whose cases haven't even been allocated yet? It's over 10 months for us now! Getting so depressing.

 

We submitted nom and visa, frontloaded all requirements (and even forms they didn't ask for), etc. - everything to get it done ASAP to no avail. I notice there hasn't been much approvals for the earlier months at all. Does anyone have any news?

To all the silent watchers you should join in and share too.

 

I really hope everyone's applications get approved soon especially @MANSON, @jesse6, @Lizzielizzie, those people on bridging visas and those people who have been waiting longer than 6 months. The waiting really is quite tough mentally and certainly it is frustrating especially when other people who applied months after you with on what on face value look like very similar applications get their applications approved.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing you all on the equivalent citizenship forum in about a years time!
