Nomination Approved by AAT -Feb 2020
Visa File open by immigration-March-2020
Document Requested ( Medical/AFP/PCC)-March-2020
Document Submitted March-2020
No Response after that by Immigration.
Sent too many emails -receiving General Automated Response saying "We do not respond any status enquiry"
Called on help lines -They do not have access for file and have to wait for case officer to reply back
Lodge Complaint to Global Feedback Unit- Reply received " The Global Feedback Unit can not assist you with this matter"
Met Local Member: He said he can not interfere in this matter
I do not know what to do now after trying all these resources.
After 20 months RSMS file opened and refused
After 2 years AAT open
6 months passed after Nomination approved
Total 4 and half years passed and still cant find an answer for better life.
So sad and depressed ..................hopeless

Each case is different but the delay appears excessive. You may wish to ask your Agent to escalate the matter by lodging a formal complaint to try and seek a resolution.
Hi Raul,
Do you have any idea, Why DHA are not approving any 187 visa after AAT approve nomination? Too many members here are waiting for their visa since 4-5 months after submitting Medical and AFP. Is there any changes in policy ?
Please advice and also advice what we can do next as they are not responding any email or complaint.
Thanks

Hi Guys I don’t know anyone else.
OMG Appy since March? That’s ridiculous... actually I had a baby 2 months ago and they asked me last week about my son’s medical assessment. So I have done in the same week and send back to them. But I didn’t get any information for my medical assessment yet. So they are so confused... asked about my newborn who is born here and didn’t go out... and didn’t asked mines firstHi Leticia,
its strange in your case. And yes in my case they have asked my Medical and AFP and asked medical for my wife and 5 yo son who are overseas. I have submitted in march 2020 and after that they never responded. Did they provide CO contact details in your case or just sent an email from ESPD@homeaffairs

Can someone please also advise on processing times after you have won an AAT appeal and Nomination finally being approved in April but final PR visas still not issued , CO asked for further info which was provided in May
does the file again go back in the pool after AAT win and same 5-7 months time-frame applies and in some cases even longer. ?Common sense says that should not be the case considering its an old AAT file so the processing should be much quicker , but cant find a confirmed answer anywhere.
Thanks
Same here...No respond after submitting documents asked by CO. God knows when we will have good day.

Wow that’s a long time, I had my nomination approved in May 2020 and I submitted all the documents requested by immigration over 3weeks ago. I think you should contact IMMI. May I ask what state have you applied from? Thanks
I contacted Immigration too many times but every time they just give standard reply " We can not advice any thing on process time and We dont have access to your file".
They allocated special email address for RSMS visa applications but again same automated reply coming from them that they do not advice on any status inquiry. There is no any other way to contact CO.
I am form WA -Retail Manager.
Please dont forget to update here if you get good news soon.
Best of luck

No CO alloted yet. Yep kids and wife is overseas and included in my application. Waiting for my updates as well.
After gathering information from too many applicants like you and me in same situation I formed an opinion that if your visa application is pending with immigration after March 2020 and you have a secondary applicants included in your application who are overseas than you have to wait little longer. And I think it is because department do not want to add more residents or immediate family members of residents in travel waiting list. Its just my concluded version but any registered MA can advice on it better.
Hope we reunite with our family soon.

Seems like everything is on hold at the moment. Mine nominations approved March but still nothing heard so far.
Have you submitted documents for visa applications if any asked by CO? Do you have and secondary applicant included in application who is overseas? In my case my wife and child are included in application and they both are overseas. Do you have any Idea or advice how long it going to take?

Hi can you clear one thing..
Do applicants need to give Ielts again as most of cases 2 year validity of Ielts gets finishedNot in all cases. Rules says that it should be valid at the time of application.
