  2. Hi your student visa is active at the moment so you need bupa insurance as well coz it's requirement for student visa holder. If you are going to visit doctor/any medical you can use Medicare to avoid extra payment.

  3. Just wondering if anyone is having the same situation. First of all, some info:

    Occupation: pharmacist

    Visa and nomination submitted: 11/11/16

    HR country

I'm currently on student visa till 2020 and I have a Bupa overseas student health cover for student visa purpose. Since I have a Medicare card now for submitting the PR application, I rang Bupa and wanted to withhold my insurance until Medicare runs out which is 11/11/17. However, a lady with very bad attitude told me I couldn't and I can only request a refund after I receive my PR and cancel the insurance. This doesn't make sense to me as I am having both Medicare and insurance. So if I needed to see a dr can I use either one?

    Advice will be much appreciated.

  5. Hey guys, I'm just wondering if anyone has had the same situation as mine. I'm currently on student bridging a visa, and I'm about to lodge my 187 visa this week ( submitting the nomination and visa application together). If I receive the 187 bridging visa before the student visa, can I cancel my student bridging visa? If student visa is issued before the 187 bridging visa, can I cancel student visa after the 187 visa is issued? Hope I made myself clear.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

  6. What about your 457 visa? Is it expired? If not you can travel without any conditions.

hi. I have applied bridging b before. My agent told me to apply 1-2 weeks before. U need to go to the office in person. In Melbourne its in the city. I have applied 1 week before I travel and they asked me about when I will leave and renter Australia. U need to fill in a form and submit it and pay for straight away. Hope it helped a bit
