  1. Hi, are there any U.K. Trained RGNs who did the 1982 first level general nurse training course. Do you have a copy of the Course syllabus? APHRA are requesting this for me to register even though I've provided my transcript details the modules and also transcript for bachelors, masters and PhD degrees. Without the syllabus Om over 20 years ago I may be deemed not eligible!

  2. Hi Kathy

it the question you have asked, but if you are a nurse and planning to move by the end of this year, it would be worth beginning the process of getting your registration with APHRA. they need quite a lot of documentation which is easier to get when you are still in the uk. See the NMC website also, as they have to send verification of your good standing.

    good luck

    karen

  3. Hi Richard,

i am am a register nurse in UK. Working in higher education. I have been offered a position at a university in .australia and will be moving under the ENS 186. My APHRA application is in, has been since start of October but I haven't lodged anything with ANMAC yet. My visa application can't go in until the registration goes through. It just all seems to be taking a very long time

  4. Sorry Lorna my message wasn't clear. Of course registration is relevant but some of the questions APHRA are asking don't seem relevant to the roles fulfill. I don't work in a direct care giving role. I guess I'm just frustrated at the process taking so long. I have a job waiting open for me

  5. Hi

im also going through this process at the moment. My application was lodged with APHRA in October but they want minute details relating to medicines management. I'm an academic it doesn't seem relevant and also recently revalidation with NMC. I'm not sure why there can't be a simpler system. I've not started the ANMAC process yet, can this be done in tandem to APHRA?
