  1. I've been waiting for this day for five years and here we are. Nearly 10 months to the day from submission - I am a permeant resident of Australia. My MA called, I crumpled into a ball with tears of of happiness and just thinking, what a ****ing relief.

  2. Thank you so much @jess6 and @Lzzielizzie - my fellow DE Marketing peeps :) Wishing you both hear word soon!!

This forum has been really helpful putting even the tiniest bit of transparency into this long, awful, anxious, waiting game. I definitely feel the camaraderie and appreciate all the well wishes and input from everyone. Waiting never gets easier, there are moments of hopelessness, but the time will come. It WILL happen.

  3. Indeed. A follow-up note that my MA confirmed there did appear to be a stop to DE application allocations since February (my MA's perception from a view of their other clients, not offical word). Sucks, but a slight relief I'm not the lone goat that fell through the cracks!

    :goat:

Finally , even if it's little but atleast some kind of hope there.... thnx for sharing ...[emoji106]

It is great to get some kind of positive news.

Fingers crossed that all of the Feb-June applicants on the forum get allocated to a CO!

  4. Hi Everyone - I've had a update from my MA that Immi has amended their auto response. They are now saying applications lodges between February and June are being reviewed (no longer saying 'early' or 'mid' February). Not really helpful, but an update is better than nothing.

**This is an automated response regarding ENS 186/RSMS 187 applications. Please do not respond to this email**

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION

We are currently allocating ENS/RSMS cases lodged between February and June 2016, however not all cases in this date range have been allocated.

You may be contacted when your case is allocated or if further information is required. Please note that we will not respond to status enquiries.

  5. Hey - I'm also a DE waiting from March. Word from my MA is that Transition applicants are looking like 6-8 months and going pretty steady, however, DE applications are held up - there's no understanding of why. I've been told waiting a year is a reality. (2 x DE LR, Marketing Specialist, no word.)

    Hi

    Any Updates for DE

    My status is still receiced

No any changes almost 9months and 1 week today.

  6. Hey @Lzzielizzie - thanks for sharing your story - it helps to know we are all in company of people who understand our anxiety, frustration, hopelessness and even regret! Somehow, we will all get there!

I am the perpetual thorn in my MA's side as well, getting super anxious i'm at NINE months with no word on Wednesday. Her advice is to prepare for January and potentially waiting a year is a reality. I have found in this time of so much uncertainty and no transparency, managing my own expectations has helped. We will both get there!!! Sending you positive vibes!

  7. Hello lovely, patient people.

Has anyone had an update on the auto email status? The auto email has said Immi is still 'working' on February 2016 since September... wondering if anyone has had any offical update? We can tell by the spreadsheet that they should be well past Feb, but just checking if anyone has had any offical communication?

    Thanks!

  8. Hi everyone, feeling disillusioned and have decided to clock out of this for now. It's getting too stressful and I think we'd be lucky to even get it prior to Christmas (lodged early April).

Regretfully, I rang IMMI yesterday and was told that they're still processing February - same response for many months now. He said that there are reasons for prioritising cases but they cannot disclose. Unfortunately, it doesn't help manage our expectations.

Also, I would advice NOT ringing immigration if possible. The person I spoke to yesterday sounded quite irate, even if I was very polite. I'm a bit worried that calling may have hurt our case - hope not. Goodbye for now and good luck to all of us!

Hey @Lzzielizzie I totally understand how you feel. The anxiety comes in unbearable waves, sometimes it feels like ::everything:: hangs on the application outcome. Please know we will all be ok. We have MA's to fight in our corner if there is an issue and a community who is here to support. Chin up!! Sending good energy your way :)

  9. Hi guys, I just got some news from my MA, I submitted on the 16th of May. They are currently processing applications lodged in February so there is approximately 2 months to go.

I've just gotten the same update as well from my MA today. Their observation was that it would seem that DIBP is currently splitting the applications and are further ahead with transition and Direct Entry applications are lagging. The wait continues...

  10. Hey @Zee - I totally understand your anxiety. I too have been waiting for 8 months with no word from immi and my MA insisting I keep waiting. Her advice was that there is no logic to the process, some cases get quick review and some take longer. It's not always first come first serve and all we can do is wait. However, once you have a case officer assigned, things will move quickly! Keep your chin up.

    Hi,

I am new to this forum. I had applied for nomination and visa on the 14th of April 2016 through Direct Entry under Market Research Analyst occupation. Haven't hear anything from my MA. I had called immi department a few months ago and my MA got really angry because she says that I shouldn't be contacting immi directly. Since I saw a lot of April grants already I feel nervous and stuck because I can't find a clear update on what's going on. Are there any applicants waiting from April? Is this normal? Any suggestions on what can I do? Thank you very much!

  11. I heard the good news from a friend who applied in May and was granted PR yesterday with no docs requested (LR/Transition).

Awesome news for them, but have heard from my MA that the DIBP’s processing times are all over the place and cases don’t always get processed in the order they are received.

    Still waiting....no word.

  12. SO happy for everyone getting their approvals through! Good energy.

Wondering if anyone knows if there is a priority or more process required in accessing Direct Entry applications vs Transitions? I'm seeing so many applications around mine go green, but no word. The anxiety is so painful.

  13. Hey everyone - question - why are there now 'owners' of the spreadsheet? Whilst I appreciate the custodianship, the inability to edit or update in real time is impacting the usefulness of seeing updates in real time. Wondering if there was a reason it's now locked or if it can go back to being a user populated form? Either way is cool, wondering the reason.
