Hi, we and some of our friends used Agents from the Australian Migration Agent and Immigration Lawyer Association - with fantastic results.

Hi, we applied for our partner visa wirh PR status and my partner became in the middle of the process also an Australian citizen. I had similar concerns and contacted the Australian Migration Agent Association. They confirmed that there is no reason to worry, all good!
Good Luck

Hi,
we did it ourselves however, whenever we were unsure, we asked the Australian Migration Agent and Immigration Lawyer Association for advice. That was an easy and straight forward process. We felt we could save the complete fee for an agent but relied on the Associations advice. Good Luck.

Hi Frank,
Did they charge?
If I had to do a partner visa, I would do it myself. I've already shelled out about 6 grand on my 186 application.
Thank you though.
Hi Lee, they did charge 1500 for the complete partner visa application. I checked their website and they still offer partner visa for 1500.
A friend of mine is just doing a 190 with them and they charge him 4,500 fixed fee for skills assessment, state sponsorship, EOI and visa under a "no win no fee agreement" or so.
Why did you have to pay so much for a 186?
