People on this forum including talexpat have managed their visas in less than nine months and the grants have been pretty smooth upto end october'16, where grants were given upto February this year. After than there has been a complete silence in AHC Islamabad grants and no news since then.

My wife has the same DOL 9 march 2016 and have interview on 21 Sep 2016 and still waiting for the reply Today its been 9 months.

Hey rehan. My case is same as yours. And we are stuck at the same timeline. Fingers crossed.

Well guys, as long as we are all concerned, it's another Thursday gone and another Friday approaching. We need to cling onto hope. Let's hope they wrap it up before Christmas and we all can have new year with loved ones.

I called them today. Same Answer wait. There are other things has more priority so they also sort those stuff out as well. You will hear something soon...

Let's pray something comes up today InshAllah. All the February applicants got their visa around the same time last month. So for the march applicants, it could be any time today. May Allah be with us all.

Honestly, this is very unclear. I had mine paper-based submitted first week of march with interview after eid-al-adha. Apparently it's 50-60 days post interview.. Good luck to all.

Hey Guys! I decided to re-visit the thread and see what the updates were. Congratulations to all who have been granted their visas, and to those waiting, it'll be coming soon, be patient, although it wasn't my strong attribute either. In my case my wife was interviewed on the 10th of August and the visa was granted after 2 days!!, which does not seem to be the case with people who are applying online. Could paper based application be more efficient in case of AHC Islamabad?

It has been a month from interview. Looking ahead.

Dada, Please call AHC ISB on this Monday and confirm if the case has been sent to decision maker/Senior CO.

 

The case should be sent forward straight away after interview call if the CO has not requested you to provide any extra docs/CO satisfied.

 

I believe paper applications get visa sooner than online apps in case of AHC ISB atleast

Thanks Talexpat. That's interesting information. Though it has been 3 weeks since my interview. Case officer was satisfied and said that it is being forwarded for final decision. Let's hope to see it soon InshAllah.
