Literally CANNOT believe I am writing this but my visa just came through!!!!

I know everyone says it but truly just stay strong, the last 11 months of my life have been the hardest but oh my god this feeling is so worth it!

So frustrated as we already gave our Migration agent the AFP, home police checks and Form 80s back in August as we told him we wanted all submitted at once to avoid delays but obviously he didn't submit all :mad:

Hey we were exactly the same, we had already sent everything to our agent but he didn't upload now its a waiting game again.

We are also in the NT. Would be interesting to know which agent you are using? PM if you want.

Just know you guys aren't the only ones going through this, hope this makes you feel a little better.

We applied for both on the 2nd March, still no news, we are also hoping before Christmas!

I applied for mine on 11th March too - nomination and visa both on the same day. I haven't heard anything yet. Fingers crossed before Christmas!!

Currently cannot leave the country as I'm on a Bridging Visa C, hoping so so so much it comes before Christmas

Hey, I spoke to my Agent about this as I am really desperate to get my visa before Christmas day. He assured me that in previous years he has experienced cases where applications were approved as late as the 23rd. So don't loose hope!

Does anyone know why our MA can see the progress of our application via our transaction number but we can't? The application doesn't show up on either of our immi accounts and when we use the transaction number tracking portal it doesn't find it? Also please can someone tell me how to add my timeline to the spreadsheet.

I have a quick question. Is there a difference in processing time for coming from a HR to a LR country? lots of the people I've seen through this thread seem to be from HR countries, very little information on LR. For some reason I've been led to believe there is a slightly different processing time?

I have been wondering the same thing but unfortunately myself and my partner are both LR and currently on our 8th month of waiting, so really, I think that the time in which the case is opened is the same with HR/LR however perhaps the processing time/further information required can vary between the two.

i have an immi account however I can't track my application as our MA told

us that as he lodged it we can only track via the TRN Number?? Really want to track it to feel some sort of sanity haha.

New to this thread. Came seeking support, feel like we're the only ones going through this but it would seem we are not! We are hoping to go back to Europe for Christmas however due to some complications I have been placed on a Bridging Visa C which means I am not allowed to leave the country under any circumstances (a family member passed away and this was still not allowed for the funeral) as if I leave I have to wait outside the country until PR is granted, with a job etc. this is not an option. Hoping for some average timing advice? We applied 3rd March 2016. Office Manager. NT. Low-risk country. Any advice would be amazing.
