just a a quick question regarding the 186 visa. I have been offered employment by a company in Australia (I am currently in the UK) and am wondering what route to go down for visas- either the 457 or 186, and wanted clarification on my eligability for these.
I am a trained probation officer which is listed on the CSOL list, I have a relevant degree in the field (BA criminology), and have worked for 2 years in the relevant occupation. My first question is, is 2 years long enough work experience for the 186 visa? I also have 1 years volunteer experience again in the relevant field so could this be counted for points?
I still need to make up points through the English test etc so if the points are made up, is the years experience irrelevant?
