Congratulations! May I ask why was the last visa application refused in April?

  2. Hi Guys

    Just after some feedback...

My business nomination was submitted on the 30th june - Business nomination approved 15th september - RFI requested on 16th for a NPCC_ACRO police check from the uk - returned and submitted on the 23rd sept

Can i expect visa approval soon or can this carry on for a while yet?

    Thanks in advance

    Dave

You will get it soon Dave.

  3. Hi All!

well employer nomination was approved 6th September and I lodged my end of the visa on the 23rd September. I know it's early days but when I log into the immi account the status is still set as received and not progressing or anything else? Is that right?

Yes that's normal. In many cases the status change from received to finalized directly with no other status in between.

  4. Tax is not simply calculated at 32.5%*total income. If your annual income is $80,000, you will get $60,853 after tax, provided that your employer will pay separately for superannuation. If superannuation is included in your offer of $80,000, your net income will be $56,307. As Maggie mentioned above, public school is free to 457 visa holders in Victoria. But there will always be some costs on education like uniforms, textbooks etc. Health insurance costs $150+ a month. If your wife can get a job, maybe part-time since you have 3 children to take care, it may not be that tough.

  5. I think it will be for both as the nomination is not yet approved too. Here is the complete reply:

"Your application will be assessed this week."

"The nomination that was lodged on your behalf is still outstanding. We will not be able to progress your application until the nomination is finalised"

My HR didn't use an MA. She lodge the nomination on her end and I lodge the Visa.

So I'm happy about the "to be assessed this week" note but worried about the "nomination is still outstanding"

Hi Chowder, how long have you been waiting so far?
