alright...seems my MA may need to submit more docs later on, I'll just wait by now...Thanks!
Seems to be as following:- if you don't push the button - they will not be notified that files are already there and they will only check your file in 28 days, not earlier
- if you push the button or call them - they will be notified straight away - in there is a chance that your file will be assessed earlier than in 28 days.

Manson, did you call your CO? Any update from them?
hikaru059, sure this button is made to notify CO that all the docs have been uploaded. There is no problem to upload more docs after that.
what if I don't click the button, will they check my uploaded file:wacko:

Anyone knows that once MA has uploaded my requested info do I need to click the button "information provided"? Or just wait till my officer to check? My MA said that once I click the button, I will not be able to submit any information later on. But how can we let the officer know that we have submitted the requested information....?

That should not be too hard, we have plenty of evidences - my MA told me not to upload these docs though as, from her perspective, relationship documents have nothing to do with a 186 applications if the partner is not sponsored so I guess I'll wait and see.
That's right, you don't need to upload unless they request since it's really not relevant to our 186 application...

No I'm no sponsoring her, my wife has got her PR 4 years ago, only 1 person on my application, but they requests detailed information about my relationship just like I'm applying for a partner visa...if you write your partner's name on form 80, I think you'd better prepare those relationship documents as well.
Just to confirm:you applied for a 186 visa and the immigration department asked for relationship documents even though your partner (Australian Permanent Resident) is not on your application?By that I mean: you are not sponsoring your wife.
That's interesting.
My partner is Australian and we have been in a De Facto relationship for over 4 years, I wonder if they will ask the same!

it is way less stressful to have a backup option
Thought the same:yes:

Yeah why, mate

Because we met too late LOL, at the time we completed the 1 year requirement, I was almost ready to submit the 186 application:laugh:

I received a call from my MA yesterday that my case has been finally allocated to an officer, and they request for information about training, BAS and evidence to show my relationship with my wife (photos, property purchase contract and rental contract, they questioned more info about the relationship, maybe my status in form 80 is married but they wonder why I didn't go partner sponsor coz my wife is PR...)

Hi everyone, when IMMI requests for documents, do they request for health insurance cover? Like 2 years evidence or something?
-
Thanks for your information, guess so...my MA told me to wait 1 yr..
I am in IT and been waiting 7+ months. No Difference in processing time. Depends which office is dealing with your application.
I would guess you wont hear anything until at least end of Jan 2017.
