Hi everyone, does anybody know if we have to send the final aos letter to immigration? Or would they receive it from centre link?
Joe, have you received your letter yet?
-
16 weeks today since we lodged and our AOS is not complete..........hey ho 'tis the season to be jolly
Joe
What stage in the Aos are you at now?
-
Hi
centrelink are a rule unto themselves, the letter can take some time to come through, however if they tell you that it has been issued you can go down to your local office and obtain a copy, they won't email it so don't bother asking! We saved 5 days doing it this way.
hope that helps.
Julie
Thanks Julie. They told me that our file is on the waiting list and it takes up to 30 days to complete.. Now it's been 10 weeks since we lodged the Aos at centrelink.. still counting.

Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone could help me with this.
We faxed our bank guarantee confirmation to centrelink last Thursday and haven't heard back from them.
How long does it take for them to respond to this? I've called to check if they have the records on file and they said they have received them on the day I faxed it.
Thanks in advance!

Hi all,
Just wondering when we send the requested documents to immi, do they send an acknowledgement of receipt?
-
Hi, I've tried to reply three times already but then it drops out (hotel wifi), so I am hoping today will be better. Yes it was about 8 weeks from lodging the AOS application to the request for the 2nd VAC. Immi are aware of the centrelink delays and said that as long as they are satisfied we/assurer are doing our bits, they are happy to wait until finalised. There was no particular deadline given to us, so we kept our CO updated with events including a copy of the bank letter when issued. I think that's the best thing to do, let them know each step as it is done. Centrelink send the final confirmation to immi and to the assurer. Immi asked us to send it to them as there can be delays from them receiving it from centrelink apparently. Hope this helps.
Amanda
thanks so much Amanda. Hope you're having a great trip

Hi everyone! We have just received the request for 2nd VAC woohoo!! We won't be able to finalise until next week but can't wait!! :-)
good luck to you all too!
Amanda
Congratulations Amanda! I just want to ask you whether it took about 7-8 weeks from the initial AOS submission until the 2nd VAC was requested?
Also when you were assigned a CO, you were given 28 days and since you were held back by the AOS, did they give you another 28 days extension or is there a timeline set out specifically?
Hope the process goes super smoothly for you.

I'm with you there, but having had hopes dashed so often in the past I'm determined not to expect any big change in the date so that I won't be disappointed again (well, not too much!). As a bit of a sideline, my daughter has been trying to get through to Immi about the dates for her, her husband and daughter, to take their citizenship tests - they were all given different dates(!) - but has had no luck getting an answer on the phone number they were given. So it looks like it's not just CPV applicants who have troubles with Immi.
We're moving forward !
We are currently assessing applications lodged up to and including 26 June 2014.

Getting sooooo impatient to see that the date is so close yet so far.
I'm trying to figure out a pattern of how fast/slow they're moving.. but that's probably useless because the pace always changes.
25th - 30th June applicants how are we going?
-
Good things come to those who wait... Hope the Aos completion will come around successfully soon for you all.
Meanwhile I finally got the automated response, it is now up to 24/06.
Hope sadge has got a CO!
-
Hi all, has any 24th and subsequent applicants received the request to arrange AOS yet?
-
Auto email now officially up to 23rd June, hope all our 23 June applicants have heard from their CO!
-
Just 3 working days apart from 18 June and many of us who lodged on 23rd . Is anybody receiving the automated response from the test email? I've had no luck getting an update!
-
Hi ch128, not sure anyone can answer your question. Would you mind giving us an idea of what visa your applying for and when you applied. Someone then be able to help. I'm new to this wonderful forum too. It's taken me a while to get my head round it.
Look forward to hearing from you JJ.
Hi JJ, thanks for the reply. I'm waiting for the subclass 143 and my family has lodged the application in June 2014. What's your situation?
-
Hi everyone, when a CO is assigned to our case, how many days are given to us to gather all the supporting documents such as health and police clearance?
-
They haven't seen issued HAP id so early in the process for a couple of years. The reason is that medicals are only valid for one year and the whole process is currently taking about 27 months. So if you did your medical at the start, it would be out of date by the time you had a CO and you would have to do a second medical.
Thanks! I was confused as I know someone who applied half a year before me got their HAP ID at the same time as their acknowledgement better! But it makes much more sense that they give it out closer to when a CO is assigned to meet the 12-month valid requirement.

Hi everyone, I just have a question about receiving the HAP ID. As I've read a few posts , I saw that some have emailed immigration directly and were given the HAP ID. However, I was curious as to whether anyone has ever received the HAP ID along with their acknowledgement letter?

Hi Fisher, did you send the cheque with an express post envelope? Or must we use the standard one?
