  1. hi bradford,I had the same feel before.I Have A friend in this forum,he and I had the same timeline. And one day,he told me that he got the golden visa,I was very happy for him,and I thought I Will be grant soon. But one month, two month, three month, almost four month I got it. I think it is hard to say fair or unfair, it depends on some luck, and most important is occupation. It is where the different is. I think there are Good occupations and bad occupations in their list. And they Can not tell us.

So just take A deep breath, then go on.

    Good luck

    Hello,

I've been a silent follower of this forum for some time. My partner and I got the good news this week and are in the lucky group that didn't have to wait too long.

I've updated the spreadsheet; here is our timeline:

    187 Direct entry, LR country

Nomination and Visa applied onshore on 28/02/2017

    Occupation: electrician, general

Extra information requested on 12/07/2017:  AU and overseas police checks, medicals, relationship evidence. Provided on 3/08/2017.

    Visa granted 16/08/2017.

I wish a quick decision to all of you guys who are still waiting! I can only imagine the stress and anger you must feel! Hang in there!

That is A Good news! congratulations! How lucky you are!

I think your employer and your occupation must be better than others

  3. I saw someone mentioned the IMMI could visit your workplace? I wonder how they determine they want to visit you?

Those who's workplace close to their office? Or determined by occupations? Or the risk level of countries? or just randomly?

My office is in Hendra, QLD I am curious if they will visit me. I am only in office three days a week. I am a mobile app developer.

It depends on the company's Nomination,if immi doubt your job position is unnecessary

real job is the most important. if your job is real, don't worry about that, because your colleague and your employer can list a lot of files what can prove your job.so just relax, your occupation is safe enough for immi

  4. Hi big z.

can you give me some idea.if immi visit so what kind information ask from us.

    pls.

    work time

when did you work for your employer from(first time)

what do you do in your job(job description)

what is your experience before this work

    what is your salary

where did you study before this work

where do you work or where is your seat in your office

maybe they ask your colleague for your informations and details, just like when did you see him last time?

  5. Just called immi to ask about status of my file and they said co is allocated for my nomination file and they r still waiting on nomination to be approved before they give decision.. Does anyone have idea how long can that take?

immi will visit your work place then decide anything.because my colleague has the same problem.last week immi staff went to his work place for some information about his occupation. please make sure everyone in your company know you very well if your application is onshore.

immi check our work position, wanna know it is the real job. now co are very busy with checking the nomination,it is very important to us.i can say if your co is Vic team they are working on late August and early September .so unlucky they hang your application to get more check. wish you best.most important thing is making sure your colleague know you or you are working at the right position in your company.maybe immi staff ask you some details about your job face to face or by phone.

hope you are lucky and get your pr as soon as possible.

  6. i even called them last week nd they said me same story that they are waiting for some information from diff departments and i asked them if they need any documents from my side or my employer then they said no.. Again before that when i called they told me they don't have any notes listed so have to wait and there is no timeframe about it so whenever its finalised will contact u that's what told me. When my Ma emailed them they replied as they need to do some internal and external checks before its finalised. Don't understand what's going on with only sep files.. M killing myseld saying why did i lodge in sep.. Its just patience is killing us can't even think about it its just nightmare.. God bless us its been 11 months v r eagerly waiting for good news with new hopes every morning nd hopeless at end of day

guys,i will tell you that immi must visit your work place in one month. You must let your colleague know you very well.Make sure immi stuff know you at your company or your work place, and you must do your work as your 187 nominate occupation.

because my friend has the same problem as you have.last Friday, immi visit his company, and immi stuff talk with him for a hour.

  7. am agree. They have made rules and regulations for us which is good and we should abide with them. Do they have rule and regulations for themselves too?? No they don't have. They just don't care that they are waisting our precious time in this so called process.

Government Image is very bad in the world.

  8. they are losing peoples trust.

yes they will stop working on Friday.hahahaha.

    For money,they usually stop working.

    what a joke.

what did they do for government?everyday they drink coffee, and sit on the seat, cheak one application, then take a rest or go home before 5:00pm. why should they ask for more salary?!!!!!!!!!****.

  9. immi is so shameless ,they play with us.i don't know where is the destination.the australia government lose their credit.

in my opinion, they didn't work for the people who loves it before.they think more money than work.i am disappointed with them.

i just want to say it is not a good department nor government.

    disgusting
