Hi, looking for a base cost of home insurance, contents only as will be renting. Based in Sydney and house will be 3 bed minimum, cover required to $40,000 max I guess...

And when renting are water and council tax (or AU equivalent) covered within the rental price, I understand this is the case?

Hi, will land in Oz March/April, will need to secure a vehicle asap. What is the best way to approach this when considering having no hard cash to purchase.

How easy is it to find a car in this case, perhaps via lease or securing credit to buy if just arriving in the country?

What would the estimated cost, per month, to lease/repay a loan on a vehicle for a family of 5?

1) what school year will she join, she is half way through year 5 in UK right now?

2) will it be easy enough for her to start school in March/April?

Also have a 3 year old son, born in March, understand that he would not start school until he is 5 years old?
