Passed and approved same day, awaiting ceremony invite

For anyone taking time from work when seeing the 2 hour slot for test/interview, my appointment in Melbourne took 10 minutes in total, so quick!

I applied 22 May 2020 and just received a test interview in Melbourne (date in early June and easily rescheduled to late April)

I noticed on the letter that you need to bring your original birth certificate? I uploaded a copy for every visa before this and don't have the original document in the country. Does anyone have experience with this? I may need to reschedule to a later date to allow postage time from overseas...

186 TRT Marketing Specialist (2 applicants, low risk country)

26 October - Nomination and visa application

28 March - Nomination approval and request for police checks, medicals and form 80

6 May - Visa approval (from received straight to finalised)

Sending you all positive vibes for speedy approvals my only advice would be to get your medicals/police checks done - we held off due to the wait time being 18 months when we applied and not wanting them to expire but now the wait time is 12 months there seems less risk of that happening. Good luck everyone! 

Hey everyone been reading this thread for a while so wanted to share my timeline.

Nomination and visa application - 4 Feb

Nomination approved - 5 May (13 weeks later)

Visa approved - 19 May (15 weeks later)

Low risk country (UK) applying on shore (Melbourne) for a reputable company that have sponsored before. So the 12 week estimate seems to really be minimum at the moment rather than maximum. Good luck everyone, stay patient
