    Hi All,

I had lodged my visa application in the last week of June'17 and was contacted by CO for PCC last week.

I guess although the job has been removed from the SOL , they are processing applications lodged prior July 01st.

Does anybody know how to get PCC's for Hkg, Singapore?? Please do share your experience/difficulties or some links if you have already gone through the procedures. Good luck to all!

    Best regards,

    Sant

    Hello

1.Singapore police force won't issue PCC for seamen. I have already mailed them and got a negative reply. So I uploaded the official mail communication in to immi account.

    2. I'm not aware about Hong Kong PCC.

In order to waiver Singapore pcc, CO asked me to upload all exit/entry stamps and visas in passports. So do that asap before a second contact.

What if u have already lodged before 1st July , would they assess/grant visa .

Sent from my iPhone using PomsinOz

As per the DIBP rules, applications already lodged will be assessed. There will be a slight delay in grant since it will be given low priority. But certainly will be considered. So hopefully we are safe. I have lodged my application on 7th June.

Lali, for me that wasn't the case.  I got asked for additional documents in January - more evidence of past employment.  I didn't hear anything until about a week ago when they asked for more - statutory declaration.  They needed that as I was unable to obtain PCC's from most flag states.  I did however previously send evidence of me trying to obtain them.  So my advice is to fill out the statutory declaration and send that before they ask for it, if you have any flag states that won't issue a PCC.

They have recently increased the wait time for 189 visas and it seems they take longer than the 28 + 28 days to process anything extra they ask for.

    Hello Adam

did CO mail you statutory declaration form ? I m planning to file one since I didn't get my Singapore pcc. If you have a format, can u please mail it to me ? Thanks

    Ooppsss.

I appologies. The list which I referred was state list and not federal list. Our skill is still there in federal list.

You have put a bomb Capt J !! Lot of aspirants must have been shocked seeing it early in the morning. However, planned maintenance has been scheduled for DIBP website on 30th June 9 PM AEST. Thats likely to be the publishing time.

    Hi

This is a very useful forum . Thanks for creating this.

I have received a letter from AMSA for my assessment . It says i am eligible for applying for migration. (My oral exam has been done and cleared). My query is that they have not mentioned my number of years of work experience in that letter , Secondly how do they calculate work experience . I have sailed for 39 months altogether. Can you please help.

    Hello harry

i got my assessment letter with same issue and I did mail amsa to clarify. What they said was, they do not mention years of seatime in migration letter. I know this is contradictory to what old applicants have received. However I got official mail from amsa stating the same. How much points do you have with out work experience??
