    4 months, unreal

  4. I agree Stevwtosh.

Imagine all applications in a Sushi train making circles, all opened files are put on the rail while they received or waiting ones are still in the queue out of the rail. When a CO takes a sushi plate he can either eat it and decide wether approve it, reject it or put it back in the loop requesting more documents, so next CO will pick it up, generally within 28 days, but we have seen some cases where is taking much longer.

    So again, patience :)

  5. And plan to remove RSMS from Perth metropol area...

    "Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme

Perth is considered a region as part of the Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS).

Perth was added to the scheme in 2011 during the peak of the mining boom.

The only Capital cities in Australia that are included in the RSMS are Perth, Adelaide, Hobart and Darwin.

Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane are not included in the RSMS. Other areas excluded from the scheme include the

    Gold Coast, Newcastle and Wollongong.

A McGowan Labor Government will immediately seek to have Perth removed from the RSMS."

    "A McGowan Labor Government will:

    • On day one tear up the current list of occupations that fast tracks overseas workers

    to WA.

    • Work with industry to develop a new list that reflects WA’s changed economic

    circumstances.

    • Seek to immediately have Perth removed from the Regional Sponsored Migration

    Scheme.

    • Keep WA jobs in WA."

The most important question here is, will this affect to the people who applied before and are waiting for so long, like me, for almost a year?

Here we go guys, if the waiting game wasn't enough, we got another thing to worry about now, the possibility of having our visa applications washed thru the toilet just like that.

I hear here and there that It won't affect the applications that lodged before the implementation of this Labour executive order, but how sure is that?

If logging in immi account twice a day and keeping reading posts from 187 thread wasn't enough, then keep an eye on the news for more fuel to our endless paranoia game.

    Good luck people from Perth!

A good 6 months at least. Delay kinda keeps growing so I wouldnt be surprised if its another 8 months. Nothing we can do but wait, save as much money as you can, think like you are in a temporary work visa without restrictions :)

I have applied mid April 2016, DE, LR, retail manger. My MA told me that CO shall be allocated within 2 to 3 months. That will become 1 year after applaying. And the delay just keeps growing, the later you apply the more you will wait if IMMI doesnt do anything about it.

    Good luck

Hi All,I've to thank all the people in this forum as you're all very helpful. The great news is my Permanent Residency has been granted on the 24th Saturday and I just found out on my immi account now.186 ENS Transition HR - nomination & applications lodged 24 June * 2 PP Engineer - no document requested - status changed from received to finalise from Sydney through Agent.I wish for who is waiting, yours will come soon...Happy New Years to all ..if anyone can help me add my details to the spreadsheet would be appreciated ..
So the cookies you left for Santa Claus were well worth it :)

  9. 186 is different and 187 is different

For 186 you need to be on 457 visa for 2 years then you will apply for 186. Which is called transition stream.

For 187 you apply straight forward which takes 8 to 10 months to grant. Which is direct stream.

Actually both 186 and 187 have transition and direct entry, check it on immu website.

  10. Hi how long they take more time after nomination approved?

If you applied visa and nomination at the same time, should be within days and few weeks but if you applied after your nomination was approved then your file will be still on the very bottom of the CO desk, can take months

  11. Yes, you will have to refer to your MA as that involves confidential business documents that you don't need to be aware of by law. Altought the outcome of the nomination is essential to the result of your visa application and it will be processed right before your visa does. If you see the status as received, as I do, that means nomination is still on the queue.

    Good luck.
