Hi All,

I'm looking for some help, i've been asked further information from my case officer regarding the below:

1, Evidence of Employment

(this is ok as they want additional bank statements to show remuneration for the last 9 years which I can get)

2, Evidence of Self Employment

This is what has confused me, as I'm not claiming any self employment, I work for the family business and have done for the last 15 years, I supplied them with 3 years P60 and 3 years worth of payslips, I don't know what they want, or how I reply to it?

3, Evidence of Sponsorship

This is strange, I supplied them with my Uncle's Passport, Driving Licence, Water Bill, Council Tax Bill, and the sponsorship declaration, I'm guessing they want a link, so I've now got all the paperwork certified along with his birth certificate, showing mother/father, i've also got my dad's birth certificate and I have created a family tree, would this be enough?

n.b. also every document I submitted was high quality colour originals, yet they are asking for them to be certified, so does that mean all the paperwork i submit that they ask for has to be certified or can I submit the colour copies?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks for the reply, i've been working at the same company for 15 years now, i don't have any payslips from that far back, would 3 years worth be suffice with a p60 for each year? do i need bank statements?

i've started my visa application, just wondered if anyone could clarify a few things?

1, do all documents need to be certified?

2, the website says 1 payslip from current employer but others says as many as possible?

Hi all,

i submitted a 189 (70 Pts) & 489 (80 pts) on 3rd November 2017, now I got an invite on 3rd January for the 489 visa, but this is not really the one I want, I’m wondering if anyone can give any advice as to if I might get the 189 visa invite before this one expires?

oh and I’m on the pro rata list for 263111 computer network engineer.

I have no qualifications, it's all work experience. I obtained a successful skills assessment from ACS.

Hi,

I don't have an invite, I applied in Dec 2016, with 60pts, i've just got a diploma now, taking me upto 70pts and have updated my EOI today.

my points breakdown is

Age 25pts

English 20pts

Work Exp 15pts

Diplom 10pts

Hi All,

I submitted a 189 visa in december 2016, but only had 60pts, for Computer network Engineer, which is now pro-rata. I have just got a diploma which gives me another 10 pts, my question is what is the waiting for 70 pts under this category?

I know it's difficult to predict, but someone might have or be in a similar situation to mine?

Hi All,

I have submitted a 189 EOI back on 20/12/16, with 60 pts, for Computer Network Engineer.

Now I have family in Perth and was wondering if I could also submit a 489 visa, which would then give me 70pts. My main question is this.

should i wait until july as the current occupation is on pro rata and 65 pts are needed or should i submit a 489 and get the 70 pts, but then how long could I have to wait for an invite?

The reason I ask is I am currently employed by a family business and would be paid a wage from the UK if I went on the 189, but if I chose the 489 option, and was paid from the UK would i satisfy the 12 month working criteria?

Anyone's input would be greatly appreciated.

To obtain points under the “Educational qualifications” for a Diploma qualification, the Diploma must have been awarded by Australian educational institution.

I'm pretty sure it has to be closely related to the skills your are seeking to get accredited.

thanks for the reply, but i'm not so sure, I think you mean it has to be closely related if i'm using it in my skills assessment, but I am applying for ACS RPL without any tertiary qualifications, as I have enough years experience. I read somewhere that you can get other qualifications certified by vetassess, i.e. if I get an approved diploma in 'Business Management' and vetasess approve it, then I can claim 10 points, This is what i'm after clarification of.

Does anyone know if this is the case?

so I will be short. Anyone know of any diploma courses or any information?

i need 20, i've done the academic 2 years ago (twice), but only got 7 on reading on both, i need 8 in all bands to get 20pts.

i've started my ACS skills application, and booked in for IELTS, the thing is i don't think i will get the point needed from IELTS, so need to get them from somewhere else.

I have read that you can get a fast track diploma, which could give me the much needed extra 10 points, my question is:

1, does the diploma have to be related to the job role/description.

2, does anyone know of any reputable companies

3, if i do get a diploma, does it then have to be verified by an assessing body or can it be submitted via skillselect.

I would think so, yes. You'd take a walloping on depreciation selling it in the UK at this stage. Good combo, it would be a rare (and desirable) combo here.

is there anyway of finding out what the car is worth, i may not emigrate until 2018, so it would be 4 years old but i presume it should still have good value in it? also i heard of some changes happening in 2018 regarding importing, would this affect the residual re sell value?
