    Hi All, 

    Myself and my partner were linked on our application, meaning we requested to attend the same ceremony. 

    Timeline as follows:

    ME: Applied: 18th May '17  |  Test email: 16th Nov '17  |  Test: 1st Dec '17 Sydney CBD  |  Approval: 4th Dec '17

    PARTNER: Applied 18th May '17  |  Test email: 4th Jan '18  |  Test: 12th Jan '18 Sydney CBD  | Approval: 17th Jan '18

    Ceremony invite (both of us): 23rd Feb '18

    Ceremony date: 28th March '18 - Sydney Town Hall

    I think we've been really lucky with our timeline considering all the mess, but hopefully this information gives people some hope. Slowly but surely.

    Well... your good thoughts and vibes worked wonders.

    Nomination and PR approved together 30 minutes ago.

    No word from MA yet but Immi account showing granted.

     

    I've not had the approval letter through yet but think it was VIC PESE and timeline is below.

     

    Thanks to everyone on this forum for all of the support. It was great to read the posts even when I was a nameless lurker.

     

    Some are having harder times than others (you know who you are) and I hope all works out for the best very soon. We are all struggling together and I hope and wish that approvals come thick and fast for all.

    Were the 2nd round of docs requested related to the 1st round? I was hoping that they would ask for everything in go. Is this normal? I ask because I was requested more docs yesterday and I'm not sure I could handle it if they ask for more after this.

     

    Sadly the documents were unrelated. I had hoped too that they would read the whole file and request all documents at once but unfortunately it seems not.

    Right... today is the day!

     

    Had a 2nd round of docs requested the day before yesterday, submitted yesterday afternoon. VIC PESE.

     

    Need lots of positive thoughts as if it's not in by the end of this week things are going to become very difficult.

    Great! Yesterday wasn't a complete write off then! Congrats both. Enjoy.

     

     

     

    Finally got our PR today.. after a long prayer and discernment it finally grant to us..

     

    Nomination Lodge: September 15, 2015

    Visa lodge: October 22, 2015

    Request additional Documents: March 19, 2016

    Submitted: March 22, 2016

    Visa and Nomination grant: May 04, 2016

    Finally I got my PR with the grace of God and my dear freinds who helped me alot on this forum

    Does occupation/position really influence the timeline? I find that quite hard to believe

    (or perhaps more likely I just don't want to as mine is the same as June9's)

    Don't feel stress. it's very random (1 our 1000) and depending upon the occupation and possition.

    Question:

    My ma summited form 80 yesterday when co asked it two weeks ago. (wast two weeks time)

    Do I still wait another 28 Days or only wait two weeks.

     

    My understanding is that the countdown starts from the point of request so the file should be re-opened in only 2 weeks time. (in theory...)

    You'll be ok if the visa comes in in the next 4 weeks.

    I'm in a similar situation.

     

    Best advice: start to pray

     

    Also try not to panic. Which can be easier said than done at times I know. This forum helps a lot!

    Once you have a CO you can try and get updates and you should be ok. I really hope you get it in time and I'm sure everyone else here does too.

    Hi everyone,

     

    I did my visa application on 15/10/2015, and finish my medical on 09/11/2015. However, my boss told me the company going to voluntary administration maybe in 4 weeks time. Could anyone tell me will this effect my visa application, or what should I do in this situation?

     

    Hope everyone can get visa as soon as possible.
