You have been waiting a year after your interview?? that is honestly ridiculous, have you tried the complaint link? I dont know what to say I just cant believe they did this to you guys, its been so hard for us and we are coming up to the 11th month I cant imagine what its been like for you.

My interview was held on 10 jan, 2016... N i don't know that what "complaint link" r u talkin about.. Elaborate plz

No.. Its been a year i had my interview call.. I called them 4 times regarding delay in visa.. But they dont have any answer... They just say that they will finalize my application soon.. But still nothing happened so far..

Congrats bro.. Had u performed rukhsati or not?? Cuz my case is still under assessment and 15 months have been passed till now frm DOL.. It looks as if its bcz i haven't done rukhsati.. U went through the same step as u mentioned earlier.. Ryt??

I called AHC Islamabad today and I asked them about the "Approved" status that's not showing in my Immi account against sponsor name even after 8 months of Interview. They said that it doesn't matter and its not mandatory that there should be the status on sponsor's name. However, they told me that my name is in Que and I'll get the final answer soon anytime between 1-2 months.

Please have a look at below post, it has the screenshot. Below "update us" is the applicant name while APPROVED appears next to sponsor's name which is below "view health assessment".

That's really good. Please do have a look the status appearing next to sponsor name within your Immi Account application. It should say approved while the main application status would still say "assessment in progress".

Hi, I applied in June, 2015. Received Interview call in January, 2016. Just came to know a month ago that my file is with Senior Case Officer for final decision. But there's nothing showing "Approved" or anything next to the sponsor name. Is it normal?

dear all,please share your interview experiences as well .questions they ask.

They just ask about the history of your relationship that how u first met, how the relationship developed, when did u decide to get marry etc etc.. They may also ask u about him that what is his favourite food, or his favourite sport etc.. And if they find conflictions in ur answers and his answers, ur case could b complicated..

Is that for a male or a female applicant? Any idea for the reason of delays, i.e. any documents requested later?

This is for male applicant (myself). Following is the reply that i received from them

"Thank you for contacting the department.

Your application has been provided to the decision maker for consideration

– this however does not guarantee a decision on the application, as the

decision maker may request further work, including additional supporting

evidence for the application to again be considered for decision.

We appreciate your patience as we move towards finalising the application."

I got this reply on 27 july, 2016..

Sorry, I have no idea about what dates are getting grants these days. Other forums are pretty much inactive. And you cannot imagine how many times i checked this thread only to find out last post was by JBassi, lol.

 

For high risk applicants, based on this forum and friends' circle, I know that it can take anywhere from 1.5 weeks to 1.5 month for visa to be granted after CO interview call. I wonder why is it taking so long for SCO to grant visa. Yesterday's outage must have added a delay too. :err:

 

Lets keep fingers crossed and everything will turn out really great, God willing.

My interview held in January 2016 and I just got to know a month before from AHC Islamabad that my case is with Senior case officer for final decision.. So, u never know the exact time of visa grant before or after interview. It has been more than 13 month since i lodged visa application.

update my medical has been fail due to I am hepatitis b positive.and they give me a last chance to submit health waiver.I dont know what's it mean.but so far I lose my confidence.now not thinking any more about the visa.but I wish everyone got there visa soon insha Allah.best of luck brothers and sisters......

Ohhh... so sad to hear about u bro.. Get well soon.. u r no more eligible to get a partner visa. Anyway, u can apply for it when ull be hepatitis negative. hope for the best.. time to take doctor's advice.. don't lose hope.. I can understand what u r goin through.. just have faith in Allah..

What status does it show in front of your name in Immi? (Not your Mrs, or I mean, what status does it show in front of sponsor)

Yeah, i asked them if my file have been sent to decision maker or not.. They said that no, its currently being assessed.. In immi account, its saying "Assessment in Progress". By the way, i am applicant. My wife is sponsoring me..

I am new to this forum I have applied partner visa offshore was contacted by case officer exactly after 12 months for interview later case officer requested police clearance from home country as it was not received by embassy but was done a year ago, now my question is my pcc and medical both expired before decision will my visa be granted or I will have to re do my pcc n medical. pcc was done on 1 july 2015 requested in june but time was extended as couldn't locate my pcc. I asked case officer do I need to do new pcc because the old one is expired he said if there would be a need I will advice I have a feeling they might not grant my visa they just getting all paper work so they can make the decision has anyone been in this situation really worried as to what will happen. file was lodged online through immi account on 8june 2015 interview on 8 june 2016 requested pcc and stat dec from father in law and form 80 all sent please anyone could help me here thanks.

I applied in June,2015.. Got interview call in January 2016.. Uptill now, nothing has been done.. I called AHC several times. All I could get a same reply that its currently in process. They will call me..

Ali i have been asked for a family registration certificate, but there are two kinds of it which one should i make ?

In my case,, I submitted FRC mentioning the name of my parents n siblings... I didn't submit FRC which included the name of my wife... U better give them both.. whichever they need, they will keep it.

I dont know the exact time.. But in my case, i submitted my medical in the first week of July, 2015 and I got interview call on 13 January, 2016.. So, it took 6 months...

Online applicants usually submit thier medical, pcc and other documents soon after lodging of application. They dont have to wait for AHC to contact them and ask for further documents..

I have sent all the requested docs in checklist and also done with biometrics...should i ask the embassy to send me the health exmaination request form or they send it themselves?

Hi just applied for the visa 309.. Male applicant , date of lodge 1-3-2016 , biometrics done

Hi, I am new here.. I applied online for spouse visa subclass 309 on 1st July, 2015. I submitted all forms, character certificate and medical within 15 days of submission of application.. Here I received a call from AHC Islamabad for a telephonic Interview on 13 January, 2016. Can anybody tell me how long would I have to wait for my visa???
