I have been quietly watching this thread for some time and I was granted permanent residency today, so I thought I'd share my timeline:

186 Direct Entry

Nomination lodged: 22/01/2016

Nomination Granted: 24/08/2016

Visa lodged: 29/03/2016

Visa granted: 02/09/2016

Profession: Web developer

Country: LR

NSW

hey all.

I had a call from my agent this morning telling me that immi want more info on the nomination and asked for a payg summary from 2014/2015.

the nomination was put forward 23rd January and they are looking at it now so this may help some of you with your timeline.

I also got told that once the nomination is approved the visa part could take up to 28 days to go through.

What date did you submit your visa application? Are you from a HR or LR country?

hi guys, got my nomination approved on 25/07/2016. It was lodged on 21/01/2016.

Hi that's good news, we lodged our nomination on 22 January.

are you direct entry or TRT? LR or HR country?

Hi I'm new to the forum, so forgive me if a similar thread already exists. I tried searching but couldn't find much that was relevant.

Currently in the process of completing the Australian Computer Society (ACS) assessment for 186 ENS direct entry.

Can anybody shed light on how long the process took from lodging the assessment to receiving a positive result?
