    @Izzielizzie and @badaich89 : My MA reverted after contacting the department with a follow-up because I pushed for it. Here is her response. No of much help, but just in case if it makes you feel any better:

     

    " We have been advised the following: We are currently allocating ENS/RSMS cases lodged between March and August 2016, however not all cases in this date range have been allocated. You may be contacted when your case is allocated or if further information is required. Please note that we will not respond to status enquiries.

    In light of the above as previously advised we would need to wait till we hear back from the Department. We would strongly recommend you not contacting the Department in any way as this may not be look favourably by the Department.

    Unfortunately the Department are severely under-resourced as such the long processing times. No point in stressing."

    Hi guys. We got our Pr yesterday

    we applied on 8/8/2016

    transision

    accountant

    Nomination approval: 20/8/2017

    visa approval: 22/8/2017

    no document required

     

    and for your info, my application is listed as "received" all the way. Then one morning I received email from my MA about nomination approval then yesterday she called back again about our pr application. And to double our luck, my wife gave birth to our daughter just few hour after we got our permanent. Feeling so blessed

     

    To all outstanding august application, your August is being reviewed guys so stay positive

    Hi, oh no - I wish I hadn't checked today - now I'm worried. Ha ha ha! I can login but for some reason, once I'm in, clicking to view the application results in an error message. I've tried different browsers, cleared the cache, etc. but still nothing. Gosh, I hope nothing's wrong.

     

    @MANSON, we lodged early April 2016 and this is the first I've encountered this error, hence the concern. No matter, I will try again later or tomorrow and hopefully it's just a glitch. Yikes.

     

    Or who knows they might be changing your status to finalised ....[emoji4]?

    Hi! Wait, so you're not getting an error message stating the system is currently unavailable??:nah: I've tried different browsers and am still getting the same when I try to view my application. Has anyone seen this error before?

    @APR15 @April16 @jess6 @Gary1985 @badaich89 @Zee14042016 Jeez guys, this paranoia is contagious:laugh: After reading your messages, I decided to log onto my IMMI account to download my application summary so that I have a list of all the attachments and viola! I can login to my account but trying to look at my visa app gives me an error message, stating 'the system is currently unavailable' - the URL also shows a blue key on it?? Can you guys try to log into yours?

     

    I did print and download my application right after we first lodged, but since then, I've updated payslips, etc. (given the amount of time this has taken) so was hoping to re-print/re-save anew...what does the error mean??:twitcy: Hopefully nothing bad. Maybe it's just a system error or a bug..

     

    I just logged in but still same status RECIEVED....[emoji52]

    Hi I am new to this forum but I don't know anything I applied my nom in February 2016 and visa in June 2016 .i got approved nom already but still waiting for visa approval . Called so many times to deptt they always said that they are looking in files mar to June but it's too much late now . I don't know when they gonna approved my visa. Thanks if u guys have any idea

    @April16, @Gary1985 and @anyone who is waiting since March/April - WHAT IS WRONG WITh APRIL APPLICATIONS? Have they just lost all our data on the online system or has it all crashed!!

    I have lost every last bit of patience with this ridiculous illogical process. I contacted my MA again (who refuses to call the department) and today she finally said that the Department don't look favourably on following up on any application. However as an exception she will send a follow-up and see what's going on.

    Last week when i called the department, the guy who received informed that the application has not even been allocated yet. He asked to wait until mid march and advised that if nothing happens till then, email the department requesting to process the application. :wacko:

    @Zee14042016, that's exactly my thoughts as we see the progress on applications from all other months EXCEPT APRIL.... and when I called immi last week the guy said they are processing April mid- end at the moment so could be around the corner but don't know if he was truthful or just trying to make the call shorter and with my MA , he doesn't want to call them either but upon me insisting him , he did sent them an email but didn't receive any reply so far.......

    On a positive note what if they have actually lost all our data And tomm. Morning we all receive emails saying that we are all granted PRs [emoji23] lol.....wouldnt it be awesome though.... [emoji12]

    At the end all we can do is sit there and wait and pray that it all gets finalised and done with quickly....[emoji120]

    Hi guys I just called immi and the guy who answered wasn't very helpful as usual . The only thing he said after taking all my details was that they are looking at the files lodged mid or late April and on asking upon few more questions regarding adding my baby on our application he very rudely said u should ask all that from your agent as he should be the one answering all those type of questions, as if they are there to just tell us to keep chasing our agent even if we don't get any help from him.

    hi to all. I am silent follower of this foroum. I can proudly say that i am Australian permanent now. That is the most precious gift for me on valentines. I am very happy today. Can't explain my happiness. The total period of waiting was arrond 10 months. My time line is below

    186 visa trt after spending 2 years in 457

    occupation hair and beauty salon manager

    nomination lodged on 21 april 2016

    nom approved on 15 nov 2016 ( no further documents requested)

    visa lodged 6 oct 2016 approved 14 feb that means today

    further documents requested for visa (7 jan 2017) it was PTE report. Tht was an odd request which was I already provide with my visa app. But anyways I submit again. Application processed in vic.

    best of luck for those who are waiting from a long time. Hope everyone got their PR soon.

    Dear @AKper @April16 @Zee14042016 @Gary1985 and other FEB/MARCH/APRIL applicants, any news?? I looked through the spreadsheet and noticed that there haven't been any grants for our timelines since November and December (for April). Also read here that they are now supposedly advising allocation for March to August? It's crazy that ours have not been allocated at all! Has anyone spoken to IMMI lately?

     

    @jess6, looked at the points system but it seems odd that they would use that without disclosing? Also, I checked my points and I'd score pretty well too even without all proof provided (for those that are not required for 186 DE) so..that should've meant my file would've been allocated more quickly?

     

    I'm wondering if they allocate based on country/region of origin...not just on HR vs LR. Maybe they have limits to the number assessed/approved per country/region?

     

    No news yet for me either.....:((( , I guess when they say they are doing applications between march and august , they tend to forget or I should say skip April for some reason..... don't know wht is exactly going on.... anyways I'm gonna call them today , let's see what they say , will let u guys know.... till then let's all keep praying and keeping our fingers crossed ?, who knows we might all get our PRs today [emoji12]....gud luck guys [emoji106]

    Just got a call from my MA . My PR has finally been granted!!!

    No documents requested.

     

    Here's my timeline:

    Nomination Lodged: 21/ 07/ 2016

    Nomination Approved: 09/02/2017

    visa Lodged: 21/07/2016

    PR Granted: 09/02/2017

     

    Profession: Cook

    HR Country

    457 transition visa

    Job melbourne city . 4people.

    Seriously immigration needs to first finalise the applications that have been waiting for almost double the average timeframe and then do the new ones..... it is so unfair that some people wait more than a year and while others just get it in 5-6 months ......plzzzz god bring a lot of good news for the people waiting longerrrrr.....     Hi everyone, my visa has been granted! Yay!

    (The grant notice is pretty simple 2 page document. I thought it would be much longer to include all the things/benefits that a PR are entitled to.)

     

    I have updated my info on the spreadsheet. I am on July tab.

     

    I hope more good news will come out for lots of you soon!
