My wife's grant was in Oct 2016 Alhamdulillah and visa grant letter shows that it was generated by M in AHC ISL itself. Also, we confirmed by calling AHC ISL that SCO resides in AHC ISL and NOT in AUS.

VISAs are electronically linked to passport. Also, DIBP has stopped issuing VISA Labels. There is no such stamping.

VISA Grant email has the pdf file attached in it which is the VISA Grant letter. You can also check visa status using VEVO.

Isnt visa grant email the vosa itself . Thy dunt stamp on passport

Thanks for posting. Is this for AHC ISB applicant?

If possible, can you please get exact date of interview for the applicant. My wife was interviewed on 23-Aug and one other Feb 2016 applicant was interviewed on 31-Aug. Both awaiting visa grant.

Those who have been interviewed recently need not worry. Based on the recent trend on blogs, it takes anywhere from 50 to 60 days for visa grant post interview. 8 months is the min. some cases are exceptional. Wish you all the best.A recent case of someone who I know as follows.

DOL: End of Jan

Interview: Aug

Grant: Oct

Dada, Please call AHC ISB on this Monday and confirm if the case has been sent to decision maker/Senior CO.

The case should be sent forward straight away after interview call if the CO has not requested you to provide any extra docs/CO satisfied.

I believe paper applications get visa sooner than online apps in case of AHC ISB atleast

Example here: Usmanyo: DOL 01/03/2016, paper ,male applicant, interview 10/8/16, Grant: 12/8/2016

This poster is in Canada. They should inform their DIBP processing office - be it Consulate or High Commission. NOT Islamabad.

Yes, you can. But remember the CO will not be able to grant partner visa unless you go offshore. So, I was advised by DIBP general enquiry line that we should be informing AHC ISL via email/phone if we plan to come for visit visa.

The CO will ask when do you plan to go offshore. When you tell him/her and go offshore, then they will be able to grant visa in few business days. Get more details durectly from AHC ISL to be sure.

Does anyone know if an applicant can enter Australia on a working holiday visa while their partner visa is being processed? My partner visa was lodged in Feb and wondering if I can enter on working holiday visa and switch over once it is approved?

My wife did ask AHC ISL earlier over the phone, SCO (Senior case officer) resides in AHC ISL and I am assuming he/she is the one making final decision. For online applications, I do not think there would be an email apart from usual application status change notification from ImmiAccount.

One day completed, one more Eid day off to go for AHC ISL (14 September 2016).

Yeah, that's right. Let your wife (applicant) submit her application [stage 1 - Partner or Prospective Marriage Visa (300,309/100,820/801)] , pay fees. Then, you should proceed for your one [sponsorship for a Partner to Migrate to Australia (300,309/100,820/801)]

All the questions would be same except that sponsor one will have one on "Sponsor's main source of

income". Just be mindful if you are doing both online applications, ensure in "Relationship details" section, applicant shall have answers from wife's relationship history statement while in YOUR sponsorship application, your will copy from your own relationship history statement. Also, all uploaded documents in your wife/applicant application will cascade through to your sponsorship application, so you do not need to re-upload any. Just maintain your wife application i.e. use her sponsor's section to upload your documents. Both applications are linked to each other anyway.

I am getting following error while filling sponsorship online application:

which means that my partner must submit her application and pay the fees, after which I can proceed further with my sponsorship application.

 

 

I just want to know which things they ask for in this online application, do somebody have saved snapshots of questions asked by sponsor of online application? If someone have them, please share.

Yeah, depends may be on number of applications at that point in time. The case I know of, too got in 1.5 weeks time but his whole case was unique as below , lol.

Yes, sure. Lodged my online application on 06th January, 2016. Provided medical and PCC within 2 months of date of lodgement. Me and my wife in Australia both received a call (Interview) on the same day from AHC Islamabad about two weeks ago

Please have a look at below post, it has the screenshot. Below "update us" is the applicant name while APPROVED appears next to sponsor's name which is below "view health assessment".

That's really good. Please do have a look the status appearing next to sponsor name within your Immi Account application. It should say approved while the main application status would still say "assessment in progress".
