  1. Hi guys, PR granted today!

I would like to share my time line:

    direct entry

nomination and visa applied 27 July 2015, granted 06/01/2016.

    No other documents requested :)

all the best to all of you...

Congrats @ cosmos !! good to know that july applications are being processed now ... not to long now i guess :)

  2. You can't check the nomination since that's your employer's application. You could ask them for an update. You can't check your processing centre and even if you could it doesn't matter since it could possibly change if they transfer applications to balance out their workload.

Guess its just the waiting game then , i Just wish my MA would communicate with us more often than they are currently .....

  3. It's absolutely normal not to hear from DIBP yet, so don't stress over that. It's not necessarily normal not to hear from your migration agent. Most agents would at least respond unless you're annoying them with dozens of emails every week, which it doesn't sound like you are. However, some may not be very quick to send a message that they don't have any news to give you.

Last week was my first email to my MA after lodging my visa ... how do i check when was the nomination lodged and my processing center ?

  4. Hope U will get a good news Soon ...

Thanks @Deb22 i hope all the July applicants get their visa in December and move on to August and so on ... I'm ok with the wait as long as i'm informed on whats happening .

its called 'managing clients expectation' .... but what ya do ... this is how it is ...

To all who are waiting , 'Keep ya head up , to every dark night there's a bright day ' #tupac

  5. Hi all , good day ... another day of hope resumes !

today marks the 5th month ( exactly) from the date of my application . I have yet to hear from immi or my MA on my visa or nomination .

Sent an email to MA last week and no response till to date ! its kinda annoying ... all we need is some from of communication to tell us whats going on .

Wonder if this is a norm , any experienced suggestions on how to go about this ? Any MA's in this forum that can shed some light into this ?

  6. nomination approved on 24June 2015

    visa logdement 21July 2015

all file updated by 20 August 2015.

    NSW PESE

    Still waiting

I applied 17/07 - still no news yet ... based on immi's auto reply ...they are allocating mid july's file .. so even if my file is allocated to a CO this week, i'm assuming it will take a week for a decision to be made ... so i'm expecting either by end of December or early Jan . And looks like VIC processing center is working faster than the rest as ,someone got their PR applied on the 21 /07 .

Good news is ... July files are being worked on .... Not so good news is its being worked in December where everything and everyone slows down ....haih...

  7. Guess What? With Grace of God and with all of your blessings

Today my PR is Grant .....very happy

Thank you everyone your love and support.

Congrats !! all the best and enjoy !

Mine is 17 / 07 visa lodged , all medicals and Ilets submitted still no update on Visa or nomination . I have sent email to MA 3 woking days ago to check on the nomination but no response till to date

  8. Can we make a list of those who are waiting for visa decision plz. I see a various time frame with different requested documents. At the moment, we all know processing time for nomination around 5 months and they re currently process early July application. My idea is just try to generalize the time frame for visa. Thanks.

    Here is my timeline:

Nomination lodged 6 July-- approved 7 Dec without any request

Visa application lodged 7 Sep-- documents requested for relationship with partner in 7 Dec -

submited documents in 9 Dec -- visa approved waitting.

    CO of Team 2

Nomination lodged : no idea as the MA refused to tell us , hence no status update as well

Visa Lodged : 19/07/2015 - police checks , medicals , Ilets all submitted within the 28 days time frame after visa being lodged

Occupation : Early Childhood Educator - Darwin

Processing Center : No idea ...

Just waiting waiting and waiting , hoping to get PR before Christmas .... hope is fainting away ... :(

  9. Got my PR TODAY MORNING

    Applied nom on 23rd feb

Visa on 27th feb ..nom grant on august 19th

Extra docs sub for visa on july 27th.

    Waited long ....

But today we heard good news ...me and my partner are PERMANENT RESIDENTS....CHEERS ...

wish everyone good luck who is waiting for your visa..

Happy christmas in advance and happy new year guys ......!!!!!

    Congrats mate !!

but based on your timeline it took too long , any idea why ??

  10. Hello guys.

How many are here from July lodged files. And did they hear anything.

    Thanks.

Applied 21 st July , no news yet

Nom same day , no update as well

but based on the current trending of visa's getting approved , it takes exactly 6 months if not more for approvals , and roughly 10 to 15 days after nomination is approved

Again this is based on the success stories i see on this forum . So July babies , looks like we have to be patient and let December past through , with the hopes that there are less applications for July and the holiday season will ring/bring us joy instead ...

I was also checking out other forums and they too face similar predicament . There are other visa applicants waiting for theirs to be approved as well . By the looks of it immi is doing their job well and i'm sure they will have planned for the holidays ( fingers crossed ) in terms of staffing and so on . So till then i'm afraid its more waiting ..

  11. Congrats to those who got their visa and nomination approved ! You guys deserve it !

As for us its still a pain painstakingly a long wait . TBH i dont mind the wait as i know we are well within the 6 months processing period but its always good to know the progress if any . That's why i believe some are just losing it

    Our timeline as below

    Visa applied 22 July

Nomination - have no idea weather its been approved or not or even applied !

Our MA is very reluctant to provide any sort of information to us . Our call to them met with a response saying .. ''we cant disclose such information to you .... We can only let your employer know ..... as of now we see your nomination is not approved yet ''

Our medicals , police check and all other documents have been provided to them on August . We have not heard from our MA since . No idea if we even have a case officer or not . LOL !

Any idea what can we do to check for information while we continue waiting .. please advice guys

  12. Good day guys , i found the below on the immi website - hope it helps
