  1. That's awesome. How did you know you were assigned to WA team? because I reckon you were assigned to the NSW team before isn't? The number you called was the main number isn't? How do you then talk to WA or NSW team? They just transfer you to the right office?

MA told me case is with wa center. i called direct line. The operator in NSW is less friendly than WA that's for sure.

  2. Hey,

My nomination has been approved last Thursday 14th one week after (7th) the Employment agreement was requested and uploaded (for a second time as it was already there, anyway). Now still waiting for application to be approved and no document requested so far.

That's good news mate. I just called WA the lady was so kind. She said my case was hold by co (Kxx) she will shot her an email to let her know the request docs have been uploaded and to look into my case today. They are angels that's true.

  3. Congrats JessEm!!!

MaggieMay24 what you reckon why my CO is still not opening my case it's more than 35 days since they have requested document,my CO has requested for an employment contract. However,it was already attached to the application.CO has requested document for the nomination.I have applied both Nomination&Visa on 30th June through MA.I rang immi yesterday and quoted my visa application TRN but the lady from immi told me that my case has not been allocated to a CO yet.I'm confused!!!

@ozguy were you asked to provide docs within 28 days? did your application change status to info requested?

  4. Another question for you. CO has requested another medical test for your daughter because it was more than 6 months ago now. Was your medical test done also more than 6 months ago? Because I did my medical test last Jun. I'm worried that they ask to do it again. It is not our fault if they take more time than expected to process visas. Why should we pay and do it again? So unfair.

Not mate. When we lodged the application my daughter was just born. MA advised a letter from GP will do. Now CO is trying to find out with Bupa if my daughter will need to do another formal health check. In the meantime, CO advised to obtain an updated GP letter as a supplement. CO didn't raised any concerns about our medicals at all. So don't worry.

  5. Why I'm asking you that it is because my MA told me that since immi has changed his system, they have also changed their number so because of that she cannot call them directly for the moment. So I was wondering how your MA is able to call them and mine is not able to.

It could be Co called MA rather than the other way round. They have direct email communication i am sure.

  6. Congrats for the nomination. Now your waiting time begins again.Seems like you have to wait atleast 28 days just like us.

So item number 1 is what co is trying to do. Co said it'll take 1.5 weeks. In the interim, co suggested getting another updated GP letter. Hopefully my daughter doesn't need to go thru medical check which will take long. For police check, it's not a missing item just need to get it notarized. But i am really not sure if 28 days rule applies.

  7. Hey @chad714 congrats mate. Some movement is a great sign. Get everything sorted and you good to go.

Btw please advise on what is evidence of working with police from what i can imagine they want you send them a proof that ypu working on applying the police check which they want notarized?

Yes CO wants a evidence showing that I am working on it within 7 days. CO and MA called 3-4 times this afternoon discussing what's needed and how to get it. Looks co is quite responsible to make it happen. I expect to get everything sorted and by then i'll ask MA to contact co. Status still application received hopefully i don't have to wait another 28 days.
