Hi again all.  Just to let you know that we are now back in Australia!!  No problems at Sydney, everything went smoothly and they let us in!!

We seem to have been the first ones from 2015 and we hope there will be many more.  Just sorting out lots of things we have to do now in Australia.  All I can say is that it is worth the wait and its a great feeling.  My children arranged a surprise party on Saturday which was fantastic.

Good luck everyone and lets hope they crack on this year with the visas.  

Hi all, fantastic news. Just been granted our PR visa!!  Alan Collett (our wonderful agent) let us know.  It’s been 2 years 11 months of being in limbo.  Highs and lows. Just hang on in there.  It’s a wonderful feeling after all this time.  Pomsinoz has been amazing and I don’t know how we would have survived without all the tips and knowledge from everyone.  I wish you all a happy Christmas and a hopeful New Year. 

Hi everyone, some good news.  My daughter opened the AOS Commonwealth bank account 11 days ago and yesterday she received the confirmation letter re her ability to be the sponsor.  Scanned to our agent and by the end of the day we had been asked for the 2nd payment!!  Posted off express today and who know we could get the best Xmas present ever.  Our holiday visa had expired a week ago so we had to leave Australia but we are hoping that we will be back in January!!  It does seem to be speeding up and we have been so lucky our MA has been so supportive and helpful.  Hope to be back soon with some good news.

Hi all, good news from me too.  My daughter received her letter to open the bank account on Thursday and she opened it last Monday!  Cheque already to be sent when my agent gives me some good news re 2nd payment.  Still playing the waiting game but nearly at the door.

Hi everyone, did the AOS paperwork on Monday 16 October with our daughter.  All went well and pretty straightforward.  Now we wait for the phone call to her.  Medicals on Thursday 19 October.  Totally stressed out!! Waited so long but the Doctor was very understanding in Canberra.  Blood pressure massively up to start with but went down, thank goodness.  So no flags raised there.  Just got to wait and see how long the process takes now.  I will certainly put on a pair of dancing shoes and dance all the way around Parliament (Malcolm Turnbull or no Malcolm Turnbull) if we get our visa!!!!  Happy days.

Catlady 2014 fantastic news.  Hope you have a great life in Australia.  Hopefully we won't be too long behind you!!

Have organised medicals and AOS  next week.  Agent has already emailed paperwork to PVC so fingers crossed.

Fantastic. We are 4 months behind you!!

Hi everyone, congratulations to the movers!!  We lodged at end of January 2015 so we are getting slightly excited.  But won't hold our breath!!  There does seem to be light at the end of the tunnel.

The long journey has finally ended, flew to Bali last night and received THE email from immi at 9.00am this morning to say PR is granted. Our legs and bums are a little stiff from sitting in the waiting room for so long, but we have finally made to through the door. So after a very long wait it's great to say..... whooohooo.

11am is no too early to start a liquid celebration is it.
