We were in the September round and just got granted

OMGGGGGGGGGGG we just got granted!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to everyone who has shared this journey along the way. It's felt never ending at times but knowing we aren't alone made all the difference. Fingers crossed those still waiting get the good news soon. Take care all

Sooooo we got a request on 30 December for an acpo poloce

check... We had submitted a Disclosure one and then just heard we needed the acpo one. Also had a request for proof of marital separation/divorce

so frustrating that we had contact on 20 October and they didn't ask for it then. :mad:

Any news?????

Well guys it was finally our turn this morning, I'm so happy will be heading out to Perth 31/01/16, it has been a long road 91days to be precise and I feel i know some of you personally now, thank you all for listening to my moaning and thank you captain for your valuable knowledge, good luck to the rest of you xxxxxxxxxxxx

Not trying to be a spoilsport ... but it makes me grind my teeth every time I see someone from October or November get their grant................. what is going on!!!!!! so frustrating! Seems like such a silly system... come on visa grant gods - do your thing for us poor August and September crowd!

I GOT MY VISA GRANTED!!!!!!!!!! My 5 month old usually wakes for a bottle throughout the night so I check my emails then, she completely slept through last night so I've woke up this morning to 4 magic emails which are the visa grants for the whole family. This has been over 7 years in the making from convincing my then boyfriend (now husband) to not spend our savings on a house deposit but to travel the world with me instead, where we fell in love with Australia! A complete career change, a wedding and 2 kiss later here we are!

 

I hope all of you hear very soon about your own grants!! Is 6am too early for champagne?????

I didn't think you had to get them notarised as long as they were colour scans????? I haven't had any of my documents notarised :-/ x

What gets me is we went through an agent so all medicals, police checks form 80 filled out and still nowhere forward, and people from October and Nov are getting theirs, but there are still people from August who haven't received theirs yet !!!!!!!

Its so bloody rubbish............ so hoping some news comes through today........ or next week at the least....

We are in the same boat also - applied 8 September, CO contact 20 Oct and so forth....... it's 11 weeks this week so surely we must be going to hear something soon. Feel like I'm going slowly mad, I've even taken to reading my horoscopes!!!!!

We have had further contact from the Australian Embassy in London confirming some of the details of my partner's application... back to the waiting game. Crossing fingers for a grant SOON!

We applied on 8th September, CO contacted on 20 October, Medicals 28th October and uploaded on 4 November....... Crossing everything! Good luck everyone

Just wanted to pop in and say hi as this waiting game is excruciating! My partner had his medicals done last Wednesday so hoping they will be uploaded any day now......... waiting, waiting, waiting... He lodged on 8/9/15 and we were hoping he could fly in on 4/5 December........... please tell me this isn't ambitious!!

We lodged ours on the 9.9.15, medicals done 23.09.15 we are thinking hopefully December time for our visa.

My partner lodged his application on 8 September and our CO was allocated yesterday. They have asked him to get the medicals done which is happening next week, crossing fingers for a quick grant! How long after the medicals does the grant usually take?
