Moved here in June 2017, got my permanent residency visa in September 2017. I hold two private pension funds in the UK that total up to no more than around 60k GBP right now. I am three years away from being 55 years old and am unsure how this actually affects me. My questions are firstly, can I move my private pension funds to Australia right now? And secondly, should I do this ASAP to avoid some kind of higher taxation after being resident here for six months? Thanks in advance.
