We're activating / p!ssing off all at the same time in Feb (possibly January if my contract at work doesn;t get extended )

 

Sending the wife and monrels for a 3 month holiday to South Africa visiting my folks, while I set us up over there... so I don't have the pressure of them all while I'm looking for a place and a job.

That's a good plan, I approve. My contract is up at the end of next week, then we're spending Nov & Dec travelling until we arrive properly in Sydney at the beginning of Jan. I'm also from SA, no mongrels as yet though.

Uploaded all our remaining/requested docs on 24 Aug. How long do you generally wait after submitting additional requested info? And all you do is click the "I'm done" button on the IMMI portal, right?

We have a CO assigned! Received an email last night requesting a bunch of additional info including form 80.

That spreadsheet is super handy, thanks. This is the first I've seen of forms 80 & 1221. Is it a good idea to fill these in before a CO is assigned do you think?

Perhaps it's the ones with all docs front-loaded that are getting granted quicker when their time rolls around? We're just waiting on police clearance docs from UK & SA, then that should be everything.

Do you guys have everything certified? I only uploaded certified copies of some of our docs, the rest are just normal copies. Seems like that's fine based on forum posts, but the website says they should be certified...

We applied on 3 August, and wait with bated breath. Just busy getting police clearance sorted for the 3 different countries we've lived in! Thanks for all the infos

My wife just got her invite at 3.13pm UK time (management accountant, 80pts, EOI lodged 21 July) - super stoked!

Now to figure out how to lodge the actual application.

Yep I would be interested in finding this out too. Are the invitation round dates published somewhere? And the number of spots remaining in each category?

Also - would an application with higher points sometimes be selected before an older application with fewer?

My wife just submitted her 189 EOI yesterday with 80 points (accountant). Fingers crossed!
