    Well.... just sharing my case.

Today is officially 2 years of me waiting since my bridging visa C was approved after applying for 187 direct entry.

My MA said to apply for the 3 steps at the same time as my previous visa was about to expired, so we did. 2 years after, my case hasn't been allocated, I have called immigration several times to always get the same response, to just wait. My MA says the same, to wait.

I'm from an HR country and my occupation is Interior Designer in WA. I have been working with my employer for 2 years and a month... I have been through hell with them and this wait is not worth it anymore. Now looking at other options and leave Australia behind. Is ridiculous that immigration have people waiting for such a long periods when we don't even know if the visa is going to get approved or not.

Good luck to the all the people that is still waiting.

I think, the government is just wicked for no reason. I feel your pain, what a wicked generation

Hi guys my 187 visa lodge on 29 june nomination n visa together but my rcb still not lodged yet because of some documents waiting. Is this affect my nomination n visa file. If the file will open but rcb was not lodged. So can we lodge our rcb after documents request from the co. Guys your help will give me some other options.

    Thanks emoji3.png

Why must you wait for CO advise to lodge rcb when you know that no visa will be granted without it. Am not sure that they will even touch your application without rcb. You better sort out with the rcb lodgement asap.

I'll repost what I wrote previously. This of course would be most relevant to those occupations which are not present on the MLTSSL, however with the other changes we also don't know too much as yet. I would expect some guidance from the department in the next few months.

I've asked this question of both the department, and of several migration agents, as well as an open post in this forum. There is currently no guidance in regards to this. The PAM3 states that under DE, this is a time of decision requirement not time of application, however there appears to be disagreement among MA's. We will just have to wait for further guidance.

The worst case scenario is that they enact similar restrictions to what happened in the 457 situation, allowing those no longer eligible to withdraw their applications for a refund. This is of course of little solace to those who paid for police checks, medical exams etc.

TLDR; We just don't know right now.

Please send me the PAM3 link. An immigration consultant informed me that any application lodged before March will not be affected but am still doubting his advice.
