Do all the family members have to enter Australia at the same time or can we go at different times before the initial entry date? In my case entry date is August 2016.

 

Also once we are enter is there a mandate that we have to be there for XX months to make sure we get any ID proof etc from the Australian authorities?

According to my migration agent, you can enter Australia on different dates but must enter before the first entry date.

I already paid 1800AUD for her when I lodged my application

It is the second instalment. We paid it in addition to the spouse visa application fee which is 1800 AUD. You're close to getting your visa, by the way:)

Yes it's alot of money But it's good to know that it's not for nothing. My wife will take up to 500 hours of free English classes once we get there.

I and my wife are also in the same boat. We applied on 13 August, got contacted by CO on 9 October, submitted everything on 23 October.

I saw an update last saturday, which mentioned filling the Form 815 and I signed and sent it yesterday. Now I'm waiting for the good news. Hopefully it won't take long...

If you know your EOI username and password you can check it on skill select page. This is how I learnt about my invitation. Before I got the email from my agent, I logged into skill select page and there the status was INVITED .

Hi everyone,

I'm new in this forum but I've been reading the posts for a while. My EOI was lodged on 2nd July under 189 visa category with 65 points for 261313. I understand the criteria of invitations I'm a little confused about the back logs. Am I ahead of someone who has applied for the same category with 60 points earlier than 2nd July (let's say April) or do I have to wait for my turn until everyone who has applied before 2nd July gets their invitations? Does anyone have any idea about this?
