Got it! My wife received her email a few mins ago!
-
Thanks very much! I certainly do hope that some of our luck goes your way, too! Keep us posted :cute:
Oh I will; you'll all know when we know.

THAT'S IT, IT'S TODAY!
I've just received my grant email 5 minutes ago. YES! YES! YES!
Awesome! Many congratulations!
My wife emailed our CO this morning, letting her know that today marks ten months since lodging. Here's hoping some of your luck can wash over our way!

I must admit I'm still a little baffled as to how visas are dished out. I mentioned yesterday that some who applied only a few weeks before us have had their visas for almost two months, and now we have a user who applied after us and got their visa yesterday. Bizarre!
-
My husband's visa came through yesterday (4th August). They granted the 100 straight off which is a relief, now this process is finally over! Our application went in on 9th Oct 2014. I hope this means that another wave is on its way.
Congratulations! Who was your case officer, by the way? Mine is WP.

People seem to have had some success by emailing for an update once they hit 10 months.
Good idea.

Still nothing yet. Thursday will be ten months since my wife applied for her Partner Visa (Oct 6th 2014). The waiting is interminable!
I must admit, I'm a little puzzled as to why some who applied for their visas only a few weeks before us have had their visas for a month or more. Does it all depend on the CO and their workload? Frustrating to say the least.

No grant this week. I'm hoping for next week now (unless they grant on weekends?).

That's awesome news - congratulations! Who was your CO?
Never mind; I see a few posts back you mentioned your CO was DP - mine is WP.
-
My application went in on 6th October too. I received my grant yesterday. Hopefully you don't have to wait much longer! Xx
That's awesome news - congratulations! Who was your CO?

My wife applied October 6th last year, which means next Thursday will be ten months. So hoping we're near our grant date!
-
Yes at first
Then got another reply with the grant
Ah, OK. Thanks for that. It seems our COs receive our emails, despite the auto response.
-
Just responded to initial email
Did you receive the 'This email is for document uploads only' auto response?
-
Ok guys, so i sent off an email to my CO at 11:25 this morning asking for a general update considering we are at 10 months on Sunday.
Where did you obtain your CO's email address? Did you simply respond the initial email we all receive, specifying what documents we need to upload?
-
You just have to remember that at 9 months, you're almost there.
True, very true. I guess because I've been wanting to move back home for a few years now, the time is just dragging out - especially as we're now in the home stretch.

I hope WP doesn't take this long with all applications. My wife applied nine months ago and it's killing me. I just want to go home after living here for nine years.WP. Seems a little slower than some others but as I said at the start of the wait, what's a year when you're spending your life with someone. I have managed to spend 5 months with hubby since I applied so I'm pretty grateful for that. That said, I will probably never leave his side again after this!!

We did yes, as we've been married for nine years. Both subclasses were sent out, i.e. 309 and 100 were sent in two separate emails.
