So does the processing time depends on the occupation skill for which you have applied for?

Mine is "Software Engineer" and applied for NSW state.

Even we have applied for NSW 190 visa under software engineer occupation. CO had requested docs and dint hear from them thereafter. We had anyways submitted the requested docs

I got a email for the additional documents request (PCC & Medicals) on Aug 17th 2015 and I have submitted everything within a week but still I haven't heard anything. What is the usual time to get the grant after submitting requested doc.?

Also can sometime please tell me, if the status is "Assessment In Progress" then is it mean that CO is assigned?

Yeah...it means CO is assigned.. even for us the status is the same as yours... cant say the time taken for the application to be processed.

After a while nervously waiting we have finally been granted Very happy and cannot wait to go their early in the New Year Melbourne here we come!

Many congratulation cengland we are awaiting for ours eagerly... CO had requested docs on 16th and it was sent and request was completed on 21st Sep. Fingers crossed did not anything from them yet .....

What are all these "requested docs" people keep referring to though? Do you mean the medicals / police clearance and the like, or supplementary info to support claims you've worked at a certain place, etc?

 

My agent is handing all of these sort of things, so I'm a little in the dark about the submission process.

I had taken up PTE. My CO is unable to verify the send score card. So I had re sent it via person test center.... PCC/medical...front loaded...that was not requested....

We lodged our 190 visa on 27th July, heard from CO this morning(16 sept). Have sent the requested docs......awaiting a grant....fingers crossed...

Oh okok.. we lodged our visa on 27th July 2015.... Medicals and PCC uploaded upfront....no communication as yet... awaiting eagarly for some mail from DIBP....:unsure:

Hi, we have lodged the visa for 190 subclass NSW today. Would like to know the waiting period for getting a CO assigned.

We are planning to go with 190 (NSW) or else it will be a delay of two more months until we wait for 190 to expire and a loss of 300AUD as well... Planning to apply by this week end.

I took up PTE and the band is 7.5. I have 60 points for 189 and 65 points for 190 sub class

Is it so... ?? Then there is no point in waiting for 189 I think we have already paid 300AUD for 190 subclass for NSW. We were thinking we will wait till 50 days and by then if we dont receive invite from 189 we will go ahead and apply visa under 190 only...I think now the wait is waste Please suggest ur views

But the consultancy people said that I can get both the invite until i freeze my form to apply for visa. We are waiting for 189. We have the visa invite for 190.

Hi..I have submitted my EOI (with 60 points) on 9/6/2015.. got visa invite for 190 (NSW). its valid for 2 months. we are waiting for SOL for 189 as well...Can anyone suggest if we have got an invite for 190 already will it stop our application from receiving invite for 189???
