here is my time line

RCB applied and nomination applied 21aug 2014

RCB approved. 17 september

nomination approved 14 jan 2015

Visa applied. 12 feb 2015 (offshore)

Visa approved 6 July 2015

so happy today after waiting long time finally wait is finished

@Komalami.. if u look k8e11 case, the scenario you been told is wrong (immi will look files according to the visa filed dates)..

there are lots of reason in different cases if we see a case of k8e11 , he or she is very lucky one RCB approved in less than two weeks and visa just in 2 months and one week .anyway congratulation for grant of visa and best of luck to all of ur

no it's only says assessment in progress

yes i applied altogether, nomination was approved and additional docs were asked which were police check and medical on 12th of FEB 2015.

i provided these docs as soon as i got it.

now its been five months never got any response from immi.

thats really bad to hear how ca immi do these type of things .i was talking to my lawyer today he said now immi will do work quicker than before As financial year been finished and new year started , hope for the best I am sure u will get some good news soon . Best of luck

i called immi yesterday to know the progress of my application and i was told that my file has sent to another office for assessment.

when i asked when he said on 6th OF MAY 2015.

it means from last two months they are doing the assessment. unbelievable.

I think you will be fine and that will not effect you coz you already finished your 3 years ban time , but better to take advice from proper sources

Through it you will receive email when file open, reopen or visa grant, you will get notification in advance..

Don't worry you will get it..I think they have different measure for Offshore file..

wait is killing...Because after after nomination they will check your document.

onshore its easy to verify the document and work ref but offshore its little bit difficult..

I think so that they take extra time....

no we do need skill assessment .

but once we are registered we do not require 7 each . 6 each can work

May be you are right , just wait for visa go through now ..

But I checked with couple of migration lawyers they said there is no different time for processing if we apply onshore or offshore .

lets see how it goes . Bit stressed

you will get good news comming week.. Or may be second week of July..

july is new financial year too, so may be they take little bit extra time....

 

and form 1 July They have new website www.border.gov.au

so old website will no more immi.gov.au..

Department of Immi and Boder protection now work together..they consolidated both department
