I have a UK military pension that is below the UK tax threshold. It is not entering Australia in way, shape or form. Should I be paying tax on it here?

We used an agent, and applied on line as was assured it was quicker

There seems to be no rhyme nor reason to the way visas are being allocated, it's hard to be upbeat when some co's are on fire and some need a fire lighting under them!!! Stay patient peeps, they are on the way!

still no news, just hoping thats not all the grants this month!! :err:

I'm in the same situation as you, applied 23 Jun, co allocated 27 Aug, police check submitted 23 Dec, medical same day, just waiting now. Been married to my Aussie wife over 7 years and have a 5 year old boy with Aussie citizenship, baby due any day who will have citizenship asap. It's frustrating waiting!!!

has any one else had issues with a broken link to do the health questionnaire? I got sent the link at the start of september, telling me not to book appointments before 23 dec 15. I cant start the questionnaire because it tells me there isn't a health case connected to that id. my agent says not to worry before the above date and its too soon to chase it, but i want it sorted asap to go toOz!!

Can people tell me how long it took or is taking to receive your visa if it is a straight forward application. thanks
