I’m very skeptical as some people put incorrect dates. Why would they skip all the way till July? Other than very few reported, vast majority of April apps have are not being picked up.

It is my concern that the “freeze” is still sort of there, we are almost heading to 3 weeks since bill was rejected but no real movement. They are not interested or concerned in processing the backlog applications.

Another person got a test date :

"Applied online on 30 May 2017
    Got test email today.
Test date on 20 Nov 2017

Not even a GP? Check professions of your friends and colleagues at work see if they are in the list. Worse case scenario get a justice of peace to sign it for you that's what most ppl in your situation do, however not all agree to do it.

Do you know if DIBP call them to ask questions about applicants?

  4. Hi all,

I am submitting my citizenship application online and got confused by this part:

"Since the age of 18, has the applicant lived or travelled outside of Australia?"

Looking at the paper version, the question is :

Since the age of 18 years, have you lived or travelled outside Australia (only consider the last 10 years)?

Does it mean for the online version I can also only consider the last 10 years?

Also should I include my own country that I was living as a citizen? (before coming to Australia)

I appreciate your help with this :)

    Cheers,

    Hooman

You won't be banned.  What we are debating is whether your application fee will be refunded if you are deemed ineligible.  I believe that the government would have to refund it, otherwise it would probably face some kind of class action.  But I don't really know.

Thanks for the answer. The confusing part is when I use the citizenship wizard it tells me I am eligible!!

  6. Hi,

I'm changing my EOI as I've just passed the NAATI exam and I have 60 points now. I have a slight issue and I'd appreciate your quick reply. I'm currently studying master of network systems at Swinburne University and it's not finished yet. Now my question is whether I should add my master studies to my education history or not? When I add my master and I leave the "date to" field blank, at the confirmation page, it says that I'm claiming I have master degree! So I've not added my master studies to my education history. Now the question is, will it be a issue not to mention my master studies in my EOI when it's not finished yet?

PLEASE REPLY ASAP AS I'M WAITING FOR THIS ISSUE TO SUBMIT MY EOI

    cheers,

    Hooman
