  1. Hi everyone I've been silently following this thread for a while now and have been noticing a lot of people who have applied well after my partner and I getting approved...

I'm starting to get a little concerned now.

Applied one 8th July 2012 and our original assigned CO was AW.

Our final info request was submitted within a week or two upon it being at the start. Medicals and police checks were submitted with the initial submission.

Last we've heard was on the 16th of March 2015 - we were reassigned our CO to DP and were simply told this would NOT impact our processing time.

I can't seem to notice anyone else with either of these CO's. We also fall into the 9 month application bracket... in a couple days it will be 11 months.

Would love to know what is taking so long =/

    Hi Hux,

As advised by others on here I would contact them to see what is going on. I was granted mine yesterday and DP was my case officer and you applied before I did. Hopefully you'll give them the nudge needed to grant it.

  2. Hey everyone! Been seeing the August people getting granted and hoping mine isn't fair off!!applied 14 August 2014 and getting worried now!!

Just been granted my visa this morning. Don't worry it's all down to your case officer. Someine on here was granted last week and they applied on the 30th. As hard as it is be patient, it will come through soon.

    Good luck to everyone else.

  3. Any August folks here? Found this on another forum regarding the London Embassy. Was hoping for a sneaky 9 month timeframe but doesn't seem to be the case.

"I just called the London office and it is just a change of terminology.

I also pushed the guy around what happens in terms of the month between 9-10 (when the processing times change from 8-9 to 10-14 months) and he basically said that the visas processing staff will be looking at other visa classes during that time and the earliest anyone who applied on the 21st of July or after can expect their visa is at 10 months. Which is a bit gutting but hopefully he's just towing the corporate line and some will get lucky.

    Fingers crossed for everyone."

  4. Welcome to the waiting room!

if you go into Settings (found at top right of page) and then look for the My Profile heading down the left hand column, there is a heading called Edit my signature. That is where you can enter all you details. Hope this helps. (By the way if you tick the 'Show your signiture' box when you post a message, your time line details will appear in every post).

Thanks Pookie72, cheers for your help.

  5. Hello everyone,

Newbie here!! I've been reading this post for a couple of weeks now and congrats to all those who have had their visa granted recently. I'm not gonna lie, i'm a little bit jealous.

Anyway could someone kindly tell me how to add my visa time frame to the bottom of my messages just like most people on here? I've searched it and looked around in my profile but can't find anything. It is a footer right? I'm sure it's really simple so please go easy on me!
