Great news! Are you in Australia now (like me)? What parameters did they give you on leaving, returning etc?
Yes I am, basically you will need to get out for at least 3 working days from stralia, to activate your grant and come back on 309 visa.
Hopefully you will get it in a week time! My case officer was quick! Soooo good!

In your previous post, you said that you were from a "high risk country" but it appears that you applied to the AHC in London? confused.com
I am from the high risk country, part of EU, and used to live in London. That's where I met my partner too. So obviously we applied in London.

Wow, congrats guys!!!!! Good to hear it s rolling on time
I m counting days and fanatically checking my email as it is the only way for immi to communicate with me.
Once we applied, my partners uk visa was expiring, so we went to travel SE Asia. And now waiting in sydney

Unfortunately I found this forum only a month ago, it d help a lot while applying tho
Been monitoring the line recently, happy for all who been granted
I applied myself on 15 June 2014, emailed my CO in January to find out what's up, got a standart reply that it d take at least 8-9 month. Uffff fingers crossed! I m from the high risk country tho, don't know if it affect the processing time. All application was going smooth, medicals police checks in September 2014.
I could not wait anymore so I m in sydney already )
My co is AW
Fingers crossed guys! Let's pray!!!! Hahah:wub:

Make sure you don't mention in NZ that you are visa running, I had problems, experienced whole border control scenario=) thanks god i had some 'Tourist Plan" with the accommodation and buses booked, otherwise they would not let me in=(
Basically the grant was emailed same day I left OZ, they want u to be away for 3 working days, fair enough, i could come back same day though.
Returning to Oz was so smooth, no questions, no printed grants, etc ... they got it all on the system, just passport and welcome to straya!
Same thing for people to coming here on a tourist visa while awaiting for their grant, i believe it all depends on the visa officer at the airport, but you have full right to come as tourist, nothing wrong with that. Again without all printed evidence and stuff, its 2015, they got all in their computers same as u got ur online banking n stuff.
Good luck to all who are still in the line! its all like an exam, you stress about it, but at the end its so easy!!! (but pricey!=)
