i applied for the partner visa 309/100 about a month ago. i was trying to track the application but couldn't do that.

i put the details into immi account but it doesn't show me anything but just an error. can anybody help?

Hi, if someone on student visa and wants to apply for rsms. Does he have to go offshore to apply rsms or he can do it onshore as well?

Additional docs for the nomination were requested on 07 July 2015 and 28 were finishing on 03 August 2015. The documents were submitted on 28 July 2015. As mentioned in the above thread my employer did not clicked Complete Request button and after reading ont his forum did it today.

 

Please guide would that be a problem as docs were submitted visa email and online portal but the complete request button was clicked today which was after more than 28 days. The day dosc were submitted we got email acknowledgement too. Really appreciate your help

they can take upto 5 months

I everyone can some tell me on AFP which one we needs to do for 187 visa

if you are offshore then you dont need afp but if you are in aus then you have to go for AFP name check only not for the fingerprints.

don't be scared mate, you are not doing anything wrong. i am 100%sure about that but still if you don't believe i can't do anything.

As much as I know your ma has already submitted your application , don, t submit it again if u do so immi will ask you questions like do u want to handle your application yourself , something like that

if you login on your immi account then you have to press the submit button each and every time.

how would we know if they have received the results.

normally it takes about 7 to 10 days to get updated.

if you have an immi account then you can check it from there if they have received it then it will be written there that this person's health has been finalized.

hello friends can any one clarify my question please... I have been granted 187 RSMS employer visa and there are no conditions on my visa but an obligation to stay and work in regional area. But i am the main applicant. Does my wife have to be in regional area and work in regional area. She is the secondary application. I thought its only the main applicant need to live and work in regional area but my friends are saying my wife has to be in the regional area but how can one get a full time job in regional area...hopefully someone will clarify thiis.

yes you are right mate, you are the only one who has to be in the regional area till the obligation ends.

your wife can move and work wherever she wants.

is there anyone can tell me how much time ASIO ( australian security intelligence organization ) normally takes for security checks.

@Ea2015 they did not say anything although I tried to ask them before they hang up the phone..all I got was my MA should have contacted with them in regards of any information enquiry..My MA did contact with immi but all we have been told is the application was on asses..I do not know what to do because I feel now that my MA is not following up my case,I have to push her to do anything with my file all the time..and now it is already 8 months..so frustrating...

You are right man, whenever i called immi i got the same answer the application is being assessed. Its so frustrating.

That is right all we can do is waiting when my MA sent immi an e-mail we got the same reply 'the application was on asses' by the case officer...but none of the case officers has re-opened my file..that is so frustrating and all of our lives are on hold...lets hope the best that all we can do...

its not done yet wait is still on and don't know for how long.

Ohh that is a long time..I have submitted the add docs on the 19th of June and still waiting...Did you have any other issue rather than being asked for add docs..

not at all, last time when i called immi they said your file is sent to another office for assessment on 6th of May. i said it means from almost last two months nobody is looking into my application. he said we can't put pressure on them. all you can do is wait. this is unbelievable

How long have you been waiting for after submitting add docs mate...

and don't give chance to immigration for you to give away from aus...

your application is onshore.. ?

Once your file pick by them, they will grant your PR..

the only thing frustrates me that why are they taking that much time to make a decision. i could understand if i didn''t get a case officer but when i know the case officer was appointed and requested for additional docs still its taking ages.

what sort of assessment is it?

didn't they assess the application before asking for medical and police check?

somebody told me if you go out from aus then they make decision quickly.

as i said in my previous posts that immi asked for medical and police check in feb but didnt give me the decision yet.

thats really bad to hear how ca immi do these type of things .i was talking to my lawyer today he said now immi will do work quicker than before As financial year been finished and new year started , hope for the best I am sure u will get some good news soon . Best of luck

yes i applied altogether, nomination was approved and additional docs were asked which were police check and medical on 12th of FEB 2015.

i provided these docs as soon as i got it.

now its been five months never got any response from immi.

i called immi yesterday to know the progress of my application and i was told that my file has sent to another office for assessment.

when i asked when he said on 6th OF MAY 2015.

it means from last two months they are doing the assessment. unbelievable.
